Hillstone St Lucia is a unique venue offering absolute flexibility for meetings, conferences, events, weddings, galas, formals, corporate golf days and exhibitions. Each of the 5 event spaces at Hillstone has a distinct personality, and charm with design influences far and wide. It enjoys a wonderful reputation because of it's location, expansive views of the St Lucia Golf Links Golf Course and superb hospitality. Celebrating its 30th Birthday in 2018, Hillstone St Lucia celebrates many occasions across all generations as guests visit time and time again. It truly is a special place.
We attended a 50th birthday party which was held in the Library Bar. We were so impressed by the fantastic catering and polite, attentive staff. The food just kept on coming, high quality and plenty of it; finger food, grazing platters, hot dishes, cheese platters and desserts. They even did an amazing birthday cake. For six hours the waitresses were filling glasses and tidying up with a smile the whole time. The Library Bar opens onto a covered patio with outdoor seating and then straight onto the golf course where the children could play. At the same time there was a wedding going on upstairs but our event was totally self contained and the two events did not collide at all. Totally impressed with this venue and would recommend to anyone!

In 50 years of golf this is the best 9 holer I’ve played. 18 tee spots make each nine a real challenge. Bent undulating greens make for slick putting. Getting on is one thing - two putting is another thing altogether. Friendly staff and reasonably priced pro shop.

If you are looking for a Golf Club for your wedding - Windaroo Lakes Golf Club should be number 1 on your list! I would mainly like to point out that of other venues this one is reasonably priced! We only ended up have 50 guests due to covid (family couldn’t attend from interstate and overseas - not because of space limits) We opted to do the 2 course alt drop which was $50 per person and meals were generously sized and delicious. And we had a bar tab of $1200 which we didn’t even scratch the surface! Only ended up being $900 - and we allowed for spirits fairly early on. The Club offers styling, and it was stunning! Lisa went above and beyond for us and we were so impressed with the way everything turned out!! Our ceremony was at the lakes location which was so pretty - although the sun was in my eyes! However you can’t control that - it was such a beautiful day and location photos were amazing. From what I’ve seen so far they should turn out really good!!! Lisa - the functions manager was outstanding; coordinating with the photographer, celebrant, MC, and myself to ensure the day ran smoothly. She even made sure the elderly guests got too and from the reception and club safely with golf carts. We also got golf carts as our “wedding cars” as we we’re getting ready somewhere only 300m away. Beyond impressed - would definitely recommend

I held my work Christmas party at Victoria Park Golf and I could not be happier. We had some staff play 9 holes on the course and some staff do Mini Golf. For both activities we all had a very enjoyable experience. Staff at the Pro Shop were friendly and helpful to both the experienced and inexperience players which made everyone feel comfortable and enjoy themselves. After playing we held a lunch at the bistro. The staff again were amazing, attentive to all of our needs and ensuring that we enjoy ourselves. The food was delicious and came out with minimum wait times. Feed back from my staff is that they really enjoyed the day and hope that we rebook for 2021.

Fantastic public golf course. We have played there a few times recently. The staff in the shop are very friendly and very helpful. Great fun and very relaxing in these difficult times. Thank you. If you are a golf snob please stay away because you will ruin it for the nice people.

Nudgee Golf Club's 36 hole complex originated in the late 1920's. The Golf Club was formed in 1930 and the original clubhouse built shortly after. The Club progressively grew, creating a new 18 hole layout, opened in 1950, and a further nine holes opened in 1964, with the final nine holes added in 1991, forming the two championship courses that exist today. The Club has previously hosted two Queensland Opens, the Australasian PGA Tour School, and a number of National, State and district events.
