Londoners have been traveing to Brighton for beach getaways ever since the railway arrived here in 1841. The pebbled beach, Brighton Pier's amusement arcade and the Royal Pavilion are the main sights, but you'll also find hundreds of pubs and clubs catering to an energetic crowd.

Mothership Group bring you a heads down club with a redesigned bar, club and sea-facing terrace, paying homage to the sites musical roots.
As a last minute change we ended in Patterns last night while looking for house music venues in Brighton. The music was decent, the drinks cheap, the crowd friendly with a good mixed age range. The bar staff was brilliant, especially you Jack! Thank you for your great hospitaly, we hope to return soon and will definitely look for you again. Birthday boy and the lady with the foreign accent :) xx

CHALK is a brilliant, multi-purpose, independent venue located in Brighton's coach station opposite the iconic Brighton Pier. The venue has a huge main room, which can change capacity via a rotating bar. An additional bar is located in the mezzanine level. CHALK hosts both regular club nights and live music events. Weekly club nights include Fat Poppadaddys, Secret Discotheque and the legendary Let’s Kill Disco. Look out for our one-off nights such as Polyglamorous and Super Charged. CHALK Live hosts established and up-and-coming bands, such as Battles, Little Comets and Blood Red Shoes. Our Martin sound system is one of the best on the South Coast so you can guarantee a fabulous evening out.
Brilliant night out whether you go on a Monday, Thursday or Saturday! Great music, cheap drinks and friendly staff!

The Funkyfish is the longest running nightclub in the city, where you will hear the best music from the 70s to the 00s with some 'now' thrown in. We play Funk, Grooves, Disco, Pop, Dance & House classics. At the Funkyfish Club, there is no dress code, no age discrimination, no bells, no whistles, just a dance floor, two bars and the best music in Brighton! FunkyFish Bar from 3pm - FunkyFish Club from 10pm (Saturday)
Great night out, lots of hen groups and birthday groups. Bar prices were reasonable. We were there celebrating a 50th. Nice interior and decor, wide age range of customers. We saw 3 Dreamboys as individual acts and the drag act compare and singer was excellent. our only criticism would be their ladies toilets, only 3 and the floor level uneven. It was a shame the nightclub part didn't open due to Coronavirus and lack of customer numbers. I would definitely recommend Funky Fish.
Brighton's new late night bar & club bringing you the very best in style & sophistication. Let yourself be carried away to the rhythm of the beat and unforgettable nights...
