I must say what a great half day we had myself and my wife. Sadie is very informative and laid back, even though you are handling her babies. I would recommend anybody and everybody to go and take advantage of this wonderful half day, you get hands on with upwards of six magnificent birds of prey and great value for money, Keep up the good work Sadie and lets hope you have another 10 great years here doing what you love. thx so much Spencer & Julie.

Whoosh Play Centre

A great three storey soft play, nice cafe and friendly staff. Under new management with lots of ambitions. There are also 2 party rooms.

Went to whoosh today after going to the leisure centre for a different activity that was being held there today, and the children absolutely LOVED it. It is reasonably priced and the staff were all friendly. A 3 tier softplay structure, with one of the slides ending up in the ball-pit. The thing I loved MOST about this softplay, and I've been to many!! Is that there is even an area for babies on the bottom tier, with baby bouncers, walkers and other toys to interest babies. This is ideal, if like me sometimes u travel with a baby, a toddler and a 4 year old. Highly recommend this little gem of a place.

Westmorland Park is within walking distance of where I live and I visit there often. However if it's not close to you, don't worry, there is plenty of free parking. Westmorland has something for everyone. Children's play areas, slopes for children to climb and more gentle walks around the lake (enquire about fishing if that's your thing); follow the wood carving trail. Picnic chairs and tables if required. Light and shade given by trees and open areas and a small sports centre for the more active, including tennis courts. A great place to go for walkers, families and dog walkers alike.
