Marche aux Fruits et Legumes

Reviewed By Razorfish - Little Rock, United States

My wife and I went to the farmers market during our two day stay in Aix. It is a great market with a wide variety of products. It is amazing that all the vendors were set up early in the morning and gone by midday. One of my favorite purchases was a leg of duck confit, which I enjoyed at lunch on the rooftop terrace of our Airbnb apartment.

Wednesday morning market

Reviewed By cce543 - Ballarat, Australia

Every Wednesday morning Saint-Remy-de-Provence transforms to a bustling market. You can buy everything here- fresh fruit & vegetables, cheeses of every variety, meats -cured & fresh, breads & pastries, antipasto products, nougat & sweets, clothes, hats, knives, home wares, knick knacks, almost everything. We bought the most delicious cherries & cantaloupe we had in our time in France here. Warning, it gets very busy, so go early!

Les Halles de la Major

Reviewed By 750dimitrisl - Sydney, Australia

Les Halles de la Major is not unlike the other Les Halles in other French cities. It is full of places to sit down and eat or drink. The location is perfect. It is situated just below the Cathedrale La Major, a beautiful church, and close to the Musee Regards de Provence, and it is right in the Old Port and close to the water. There is inside as well as outside seating too. It's a great place to visit.
