Tolliver's Guide Service is independently owned and operated by Jesse Tolliver as a sole proprietor business. When you hire me, you won't be getting a young and inexperienced mountain trout guide. As a former park ranger, Jesse has fished all publicly accessible streams in the area over the course of 20 years. He also has several years of formal experience guiding wade trips for both the experienced and unexperienced client. I am comfortable teaching all age groups and am very good with children. I teach the diverse techniques of fly fishing, including European style competitive nymphing. I will craft a guide trip to be specific to your level of experience and interests. Beginner to expert, I do it all. Every trip includes all necessary gear and a shore lunch. I carry two special use permits for the surrounding national forests, which gives my guide service legal access to high quality trout streams that see very little fishing pressure.

The only Orvis endorsed fly shop and guide service in the High Country. We offer a full line of Orvis products along with Simms, Rio, and Sage rods. Our guided fishing trips are perfect for the family and we provide all the gear and transportation. Our guides are professionals and patient teachers. We also offer casting lessons with FFI certified instructors as well as gear rentals.
