Begin an unforgettable trip through almost 7,500 square miles (12,000 km²) of fantastic landscapes of salt and surrealist landscapes of deserts and colored lagoons of the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve. The dazzling white mantle of the Salar de Uyuni resembles an immense glacier. In winter (dry season from May to October), when the surface hardens, geometric figures formed by the salt particles agglomerated into polygons appear. In summer (rainy season from November to March) the salt desert is transformed into a giant mirror that blends into the sky of the purest blue you've ever seen before.

Tiwanaku is a pre-Incan city in Bolivia. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and has been since year 2000. Tiwanaku is viewed by most archaeologists as being one of the key sites leading up to the Incan Empire, and remains a beautiful site for modern visitors. The artistic style of Tiwanaku is also quite unique, with fascinating figurative pieces that feature exaggerated heads. At the Beginning of the tour visit the Ceramic and Lithic museums, travelers can visit the ancient and enigmatic archaeological ruins such as: Gate of the Sun, Kalasasaya Temple, The Semi-Subterranean Temple with nailed heads, Monoliths, the megalithic and mysterious ancient ruins of Puma Punku and other religious enclosures. 08:00 a.m. Hotel pick up. 09:30 a.m. Tour Start in Tiwanaku, ruins and museums. 02:00 p.m. Lunch. 03:00 p.m. Return to the city. 04:30 p.m. Drop-off at hotel.

We booked a tour to the Valley of The Moon and Mt Chacaltaya out of LaPaz. We were there in November, 2019 during the post election protests. We met our guide, Patti, at a rendezvous point near the Prada. The pick up was about 30 minutes late. The part of the tour to the Valley of the Moon was canceled due to protestors blocking the road. We received no refund. We did drive to Mt Chacaltaya and scrambled to the top. Although the walk is not steep and the path pretty good, be prepared for a tough climb given the altitude of about 17,000 feet. You will need to take numerous stops and the climb will take longer than you expect. The views of the surrounding Andes Mountains was spectacular. Well worth the effort. Overall the trip was fine, but make sure you know what you are getting yourself into. Also, we were somewhat disappointed by the reluctance of our guide to stop and allow us to take pictures at various places on the trip. If you choose to take this trip, be sure to inquire carefully about the logistics.

It is an eight-hour tour where you can be in touch with nature, feel the fresh air of the mountains and appreciate beautiful landscapes of the Cordillera Real.
Inclusions: Private transportation, Bilingual guide (Spanish - English)
Exclusions: Lunch, Income: Chacaltaya 15 Bs. And Valle de la Luna 15 Bs.
Had a good ride, bikes were ok but abit dated. Guide was very friendly and helpful. gear was adequate. They don’t tell you that the scary part is mostly in the cloud forest so views are obscured so it’s not scary. My only complaint was the pictures they took were boring. They don’t want you to take your own camera most likely because one would stop too much holding others up but if you can take Picts on the fly then take your own pictures.

Trips to the Salar de Uyuni are an unforgettable experience, but unfortunately, the general level of facilities and services that are not very high in this remote area. We would like to make it clear that things are not as reliable, comfortable and professional as we would like on these trips, so for this reason we do not promise more than you will receive for your money. Accommodation and food will be basic. Due to the hardness of the vehicle field breakdowns are common. Still interested? Well, it must be because if it can be put with a little difficulty it must have a great time. Take some extra snack, lots of warm clothes and a sleeping bag (included for this tour - ask for one before leaving) and the accommodation doesn't feel too bad. The best tour, We felt very safe and was easy to organise! We traveled with a 3 year old and this was by far the best tour agency and they are not expensive too! She also organises private stargazing tours in the salts. Our guide spoke english and he was a wonderful photographer. He took a million pictures and helped us with those perspective photos and videos too! They don't pack you in a big group. We were a group of four and it was perfect! I like that this tour agency is not money minded. In fact we had to chase her to pay the money. She was very kind and I would absolutely recommend her!

We spend 3 Nights/ 3 days with our sons (aged 4, 6, and 9) in Chuchini, and all of us loved it. The owners really did everything to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay, and they are wonderful with children. The kids especially loved the dolphins and the night excursion to watch alligators, apart from being allowed to steer the motor boat. Highly recommended!

We were linked with Andrea Tours through a tour group in Ecuador and we couldn't have been more pleased. Our guide Laura was warm and friendly, and we learned so much. With the above-and-beyond efforts of her and our driver, we made it to Cactus Island while the surrounding flats were still reflective. We got some amazing, one-of-a-kind views and photos, not to mention we had the whole island to ourselves! We also got a sunset tour and stargazing tour as a result of the longer journey. The stargazing wasn't even included in our itinerary. The flats were an out-of-this-planet experience, and we couldn't have enveloped ourselves more within them. We're truly grateful for a peaceful, reflective, breathtaking, and unforgettable experience.
