December 25, 2021 Randal Brittian

Ten million people call vibrant, passionate, sprawling Bogota home. The energy of this metropolitan heart of Colombia is in part fueled by its hundreds of eclectic and authentic dining hot spots, fantastic wines, and frequent foodie festivals. Ask the locals where they like to eat, then walk off your empanadas and aji with a stroll through the historic district of La Candelaria or during an indulgent shopping adventure on the North Side.

The question that leads us to design our routes is ¿why a traveler who visits Bogotá, talks to us about Monserrate, Candelaria and Paloquemao as a local life if our local life are the neighborhoods, the streets and the places that we and our friends visits in our free time and on the weekends? This is not a party experience but the before it is. Get ready for a unique and enjoynable local experience. We want to embrace the feeling of belongingness and happiness in this experience with a fresh and cool environment. While most people come to Zona T for food and drinks, Chapinero has a young, hipster, diverse and cultural feel at night. We will introduce you to many cool restaurants and bars formed by young people with trendy concepts, and where we are going to try a different kind of craft beers and cocktails. You will see how truly diverse Chapinero while you enjoy their nightlife. Let´s have fun! Remember! in total are 4 drinks divided in 2 Cocktails and 2 craft Beer.

Inclusions: Alcoholic Beverages

Exclusions: Private transportation

We did the vegetarian food tour with Andrea who was filling in for the woman who normally runs the tours. Andrea was fantastic - she told us a lot about Bogotá’s culture and the various neighbourhoods and felt like a friend by the end of the tour. The amount of food was just right - not too much and not too little, and all of it was delicious. A highlight included a deep fried mushroom “alita” and the juices at Uba. We stopped by a very cool bookstore along the way and browsed there for awhile too which was a nice little detour. Even if you’re not a vegetarian, I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about the culture of Bogotá and Chapinero.
