The Blue Mountains are named for the delicate azure haze that lingers along the region, which is actually a fine cloud of oil emitted by eucalyptus trees. The mystical mountains are a labyrinth of plateaus, gorges and gum trees. Check out the Katoomba Scenic Railway (the steepest railway in the world), the Jenolan Caves and the Giant Staircase nature walk.

Wonderful atmosphere, good customer service and beautifully natured shop dog Mr. Brown makes the time just fly by. What a plethora of things, useless, beautiful and fun, with furniture and vintage clothing thrown in for good measure. Loved browsing in this huge shop, found a couple of interesting that will make their way back to France with us. Give yourself some time if you want to check this place out, it seems to go on and on.

Katoomba Antique Centre, your key to the past. Found at 116 Bathurst Road, Katoomba in the beautiful Blue Mountains Australia, is an amazing collection of antiques, fine art, jewellery, books and much much more! Not only do we stock unique items, but we are able to evaluate your antiques & help you source that special item you've been searching for! Within our wonderland of antiques we have a Camera Museum that has an unbelievable collection of cameras and photography.
This is the best antique store I have been to. Very welcoming energy from the second you enter, we walked in and they were having a family vegan lunch near the heater and welcomed us in with warmth. We had a look around they complemented me on my colour pants and said they loved my vibe. Told me funny stories and then gifted me the item I wanted to buy. I would have been more than happy to spend my money here. Run my people I would genuinely like to hang out and laugh with. It is completely understandable why their store was full of friends.

The old theatre that is now an antiques centre with multitudes of sellers in their own little nooks. We saw 3 carat diamond ring from Cartier, Paris and read it’s story - apparently it belonged to Frank Sinatra and was a gift for his 40th birthday. Huh. The things you find when you’re not looking - interesting little read. Definitely worth a visit when in the area
Located in Katoomba town centre, in the heart of Australia's famous Blue Mountains, Odd Mountain is fashioned after the Victorian era "Cabinet of Curiosities" - or "Wunderkammer" - Wonder Cabinet. We specialise in everything weird: Small taxidermy, religious, medical and occult antiquities, true crime memorabilia - plus beautiful crystal jewellery and gifts.
