We started at the bridge of Cally hotel car park and headed on the 8km section to Blairgowrie and down the round trip back to the bridge of Cally hotel.(highly recommend the food here ) This is a great walk through the countryside with great views and lots of wildlife to keep the kids entertained. Some of the trail was a little marshy but most was dry and good for walking on. A couple of small inclines but nothing to challenging. There’s a great tree swing for the kids about 200yards up from the hotel next to an old outhouse. The walk through the forest was lovely especially as it was autumn.

The Blairgowrie Golf Club is one of the UK's most highly regarded golf clubs, famous for its rich history and Championship golf courses. The Club features the renowned Rosemount and Lansdowne Championship courses plus our majestic 9-hole course which are all set in heather lined avenues of pine and silver birch. Founded as a private members' club in 1889, it is situated in the heart of the magnificent Perthshire countryside. All of our courses consistently feature in Scotland's Top 100 Golf Courses, so it's no wonder golf at Blairgowrie Golf Club is enjoyed by so many from near and far.
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The General Manager (Steven) made a point of coming to say hello and checked in after our round. Iain, in the pro shop, lovely warm welcome and made sure we were all set up well for the round. We played the Rosemount - beautiful tree lined course, some great holes, fairways and greens in excellent condition for time of year. Definitely a must visit! We will be heading back next year.
