The geographical heart of England, Birmingham started life as a sixth- century Anglo-Saxon village. Today, much of this city of over a million dates back to post-WWII redevelopment in the 1950s and 60s. Cutting edge museums and galleries, innovative theaters and excellent shopping have contributed to Birmingham's appeal as a weekend break destination. Don't miss the hopping bars and cafes of Gas Street Basin or the fascinating creatures at the National Sea Life Centre.

This is a great pub just on the edge of the main street in moseley. It looks, at first glance, like an old fashioned boozer, albeit one which is very nicely presented, with a nice warm feel to it. And in many ways kit is, and this is not a criticism. They decor is traditional, with some great filing work on the floor and the walls. However, it is much more than that, g through to the back and you will find a lovely snug (as like the rest of the indoors, though, it is not big, so space is sometimes scarce). Throughout, the beer is well kept and their cocktails very good. the staff are always helpful and polite. Go back further though and you will find the huge garden, that has a cocktail bar, a very large covered seating area, and is one of the big reasons the PoW is a well-known and loved Birmingham venue, particularly in the summer, where there are often cultural events and shows. It is very popular, and a recommended visit (just don't tell eveyone, it can be packed as it is!)

Fletchers Bar & Eatery is relaxed, slightly offbeat and a great place to spend a few hours with friends chatting whilst enjoying great food and drink. Located just off Kings Heath High Street on York Road, Fletchers is the stay out late sister of Kitchen Garden Cafe. "Located on York Road (Kings Heath), Fletchers Bar & Eatery is a friendly, laid-back bar and restaurant dedicated to delighting its patrons with some of the tastiest dishes, moreish bar snacks and delicious cocktails around." - Independent Birmingham 2014

A warm, inviting local pub in the heart of Birmingham's vibrant Moseley area - boasting a wide range of Cask Ale, Craft Beers and Spirits served with a smile!
I always loved this pub even from the Trafalgar days, pre gentrification when there were only a few pubs in Moseley. Its honest and not pretentious and even with the ubiquitous amount of watering holes now within the Moseley mile Pat Kavs still feels like it always has done. A proper pub, also the beer selection was more than decent with 2 draft IPAs and 3 hand pulls. The lady serving who i assume to be the landlady was very friendly and hospitable.
