Berlin is an edgy city, from its fashion to its architecture to its charged political history. The Berlin Wall is a sobering reminder of the hyper-charged postwar atmosphere, and yet the graffiti art that now covers its remnants has become symbolic of social progress. Check out the Weltzeituhr (world time) Clock, topped by a model of the solar system, then turn back time by dining at the historic Zur Letzten Instanz, a 16th century restaurant that was frequented by Napoleon and Beethoven.

This room, without giving anything away, was huge, detailed and filled with a whole variety of puzzles. There was no numbered padlocks in here, which was somewhat a relief after other escape room’s over reliance on them. As this was more of an immersive and theatrical room, the story pushed you along to uncover clues and to move through each well-thought out puzzle. Our game master, Markus, was in character straight away when we met him and played his role excellently so that we were immediately in the story and adventure. There wasn’t too many hints from him either which gave us an even greater sense of accomplishment. One of the best escape rooms I’ve played. Not one for the faint hearted!

Everything was perfect about this escape room: Beautiful decors, immersive atmosphere (including sound effects) and great story; riddles were extremely varied and fun to resolve; mechanically, there were some high end designs, which I understand the owners all conceived and built on their own - impressive; pacing is great and timing of the hints was spot on; owners were extremely friendly and very passionate about what they do; highly recommended, you will not regret it! (We did the jackpot and the computer store one)

Beat the Star? Almost! At WhatAGame it's all about beating your buddies, boss, colleagues, bachelor or the birthday boy! Your group gets a 2.5 hour game mix out of the areas sports, knowledge, tactics and skills. Your personal moderator that leads your group through 7-15 games makes your event a unique gameshow experience.
This was a great afternoon: five of us (friends) booked in with Gerry and we got an amazing afternoon event. It was a game show based competition in various areas of tactics, games, quizzes, fun gadgets and sports (don't worry, you don't have to be an athlet...it's all very fun and easy to get into). Basically it all includes stuff, that you always wanted to try but never got around to doing it (imagine trying everything in a toystore...). All in all we stayed for three hours and Gerry hosted us throughout the entire event. Depending on the weather there are heaps of games for in- and outdoors. I would definitely book again. Perfect for special occasions such as birthdays, bachelor parties, etc. as well as just a fun afternoon for private or professional teambuilding. Groups can be smaller or larger and Gerry will make sure that you receive an experience that is specifically tailored for you (maybe language or other speicific needs available). Additionally, whatagame is located in the fun area of Kreuzberg, easy to get to and surrounded by heaps of bars and restaurants to visit prior or after or both...Thumbs Up!
