The village of Bergen in the North of Holland is a place of repose and chique. Kranenburgh is celebrating its quarter of a century celebration this year, as it was set up by local artists 25 years ago to honour the Bohemian Utopia Bergen once was. Still, many artists born in Bergen a generation back return and produce because there really is no place like home.
