Our experience with Tours Albania & Balkans following Jimmy Lama's recommendations exceeded our highest expectations. Our personal guides were courteous, prompt, well informed and guided us with the hearts of teachers deeply in love with Albania and Albanian culture. We never felt pressured to shop or eat anywhere, but our guides were forthcoming with information to help us to make excellent decisions on where to go. There were no surprises regarding the quoted prices. In fact, Genti who was with us for 6 days was paid daily per my agreement with Jimmy. It was my practice to present him each day with a folded wad of Lek including his gratuity as he left. One day he came in and explained it was apparent to him I had substantially over-paid him the day before! His honestly exemplified the experience we had in Albania, a country that is easy on the wallet, stimulating to the palate and beautiful to the eye. The Albanian people love Americans as evidenced by the statues of George Bush and Woodrow Wilson. It is only the size of Maryland yet has a diverse texture from the Alps to the Albanian Riviera full of eye-popping vistas. Go!

Albania is the last unexplored area of the Europian touristic map, so the interest to visit this small and beautiful country is growing more and more. Albania has become a favorite destination for travelers. Having been almost entirely closed off under the hard-line communist regime for many decades, the country is still considered an exotic tourist destination. The natural scenery and beauty of the mountainous countryside is therefore largely unspoilt. Visitors can discover gorgeous beaches.

Dear Sirs, I would like to thank "1001 Albanian Adventures" for organising me a tour from Tirana to Prizren. In the time the pandemy affected all travellers around the world, the information in Internet is diverse and contradictionary. Some websites say, that the borders are open, calls to other give the answer, that you need covid-test, what takes time and money. In such region, like Montenegro-Albania-Kosovo, you even get different timetables for bus departures - or even totally no information about it. "1001 Albanian Adventures" and especially Erilda herself made my trip from Albania to Kosovo possible. He was always available for my questions per Facebook, even apart her working hours, in the evening. She organised for me a "half-tour" to Prisren from Tirana, following my budget, so that I could go further to Pristina Airport. I felt safe and cared about and want to say thank you! Ana S, Germany

Explore one of the oldest and best wine-producing regions in Albania and know the history of Berat; how it started producing wines in the 8th century BC. Meet the families who started growing grapes in their own gardens and backyards so they could create Rakia and wine for personal consumption. Eat lunch in a small village and walk in the vineyards We are proud to tell that Berat has its indigenous grape called Puls/Pules – Though originally used to make rakia, a traditional fruit brandy popular in Albania, this grape now yields some of the finest dry white wines in the country. With its delicate floral bouquet and a long finish, this could be a worthy addition to your wine cellar. This grape grows in the Berat County of Albania. Visited these guy’s shop whilst just passing by chance. Decided to book one of their trips to the waterfall and to see the canyon as had a day to kill. I’ve done a fair few of these trips but Spiro and Randi really tried their best to tailor to our needs. We basically didn’t want to be out for a whole day trip so they cut it back to around 4 hours which was enough to cram in the highlights. Good English were really knowledgeable about the area and history
