The Shrine of the Brown Madonna was found by the Padilla's of Baguio. The place is open to the public, free of charge. Mass is held here once in a while, hosted also by the founder, Narciso Padilla, a known Baguio journalist. The shrine features a 6-7foot tall Brown Madonna at the Cave's altar. Also the scenery is a good place for a picnic.
Me and my family always go here to visit and have some time for ourselves to meditate on what the Lord whats to say to us . This is great place to just sit and observe while you talk to God on your own . My house is just near here that’s why me and my family always go here . This is a place to visit and it is also amazing because it is inside of a cave ! ????????

Locally known as Mount Yangbew, this hike is a wonderful trip off the beaten path. I recommend going early in the morning as the colors of the sky are beautiful at that time. The afternoons are often cloudy. The hike is short but hard and completely worth it. There are a few parking spaces up the cemented part of the road. After that street parking is available on the shoulder before turning up to Yangbew.

Whether you are looking for bonding with family or just plain nature trip, this is a wonderful trail to experience and explore both. Super worth every penny to complete the trail. Trail is rated 3/10 but I will say it is 4 or 5 for beginners like us. Some tips on mountain climbing techniques are a must, like keep a pace that suits your body, don’t drink too much water at once, just enough to keep your throat wet, breathe through nose and not mouth come in handy when you are doing any climbing activity. Most important start early as sun can take a toll even if temp is 12 to 15 deg. We arrived at 9 and finished by 1:30pm, of course with numerous stops to catch a breath or sooth our aching muscles.

The 'mother of all parks' in Baguio city, the summer capital of the Philippines, is a 32.84-hectare park designed by, and named after, American architect and urban planner Daniel Hudson Burnham, who also designed the original plan for Baguio City as well as Dewey Boulevard (now Roxas Boulevard) in Manila. The park has 12 main areas, the most popular of which are the Burnham Lagoon, a man-made lake with rowboats for hire; a children's playground; a skating rink; the Rose Garden and the Picnic Grove.
A very nice park in the middle of Baguio City, there are lots of people visiting Burnham Park to enjoy and feel the cold weather of the City. You'll be surely enjoy your vacation and relaxed you from all of your problems.
