This is a must see in the Belgian Ardennes ( Bouillon - Semois area ).The Semois river makes a curve around the Frahan village. From Rochehaut village, with a lot of good pubs, restaurants and local delicatesse food shops one can see this unforgettable panoramic view

Beautiful piece of nature! I visited this nature reserve with my parents when I was a child and visited it now with my own children. It still looks amazing! There are some panoramic view points with stunning views over the dunes. It's a very nice walk (we did the 10km trail) where you cross very different types of nature. But indeed, like other people already mentioned here, it's a real work out. Walking through the dunes is intensive! :-) Although there are a lot of trash bins along the way, there is only one point where there are toilets. This is difficult with children.

You can climb the Historium Tower for a breathtaking 360° view of the Market Square (Markt) in Bruges and the Belfry (Belfort). This is the beautiful neo-gothic tower that forms part of the Historium building from 1921, which was designed by the well-known Belgian architect Jules Coomans. The tower’s narrow stair turret was inspired by the Burghers’ Lodge (Poortersloge) on Jan van Eyckplein and reaches a height of almost 35 metres. The tower has 145 steps and the observation point is at a height of 26 metres. When you exit the tower, you can visit the adjoining Historium Exhibition which has much more information about Bruges in the Middle Ages. From here you will also be able to access the Historium’s large panoramic terrace. See Bruges from a totally different perspective! The Historium Tower is open every day from 10 am to 6 pm, including Sundays and public holidays.
This is my 2nd visit to Bruges, but the tower tour was worth the small admission. We just did the visit to the tower and i must say it was worth going up those narrow few hundred steps as these are by far the best views in Bruges. A lot of great panoramic shots can be made and selfies. on your way down, they have the Duvel bar to have a great panoramic view of the square whist enjoying one of the best Belgian beers.

This monument stands in tribute to the Belgian soldiers who fought and died in the two world wars. The monument takes the form of an obelisk, standing on a pedestal. At the front of the pedestal is a figure of winged Nike, spreading her wings protectively around soldiers a group of soldiers marching forward. Above this sculptural ensemble is the obelisk topped with the royal crown of Belgium. Just below the crown are four soldiers standing guard around it, symbolising the soldiers duty to protect the nation and crown.
