We leave the city and head towards the cost road north of Barcelona. We ride for approx 45 mins and stop for a coffee & pastry in the coastal village of Sant Pol de Mar to have breakfast by the sea. We then continue our journey to Tossa de Mar to visit the castle. We take the "GI 682" coastal road which offers a twisting road with spectacular views , this road is featured in many guides as one of the best roads in Europe. We get to see on the best coastal roads in Europe and stop in the coastal towns and villages along the way which all different but equally charming. Lunch is in the fishing village of Palamos where freshly caught fish is available on the menu of the local restaurant but also they offer a variety of fresh local products. I definitely recommending this company and this tour as they are very welcoming and doing a job professionally, During a Pandemic (COVID-19) we have been on a business trip in Spain, France and we have had some free days, so it was interesting for us to able to do this tour or not? We have contacted this company and from the first, we received lots of accurate and to the date information about how to traveling in pandemic in Spain, what documents shall we carry on and … They car was extremely clean and leggy, with safety partition and for keeping the risk as low as possible, they were only us in the car and it was completely private tour. The tour was fantastically organized, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and always wearing a mask and we were finding that he is customizing a tour based on our interests. Extremely worthwhile and unique experience and hope this pandemic ended up soon and everybody can travel easily in the world like before .

We were luky to be the only one for that day. So we had a privéd tour. The places they let you see are amazing! The tour was for 2hours and or guid was amazing. Het only point, its a bit expensive for 2h tour.

We loved our private day tour of Besalu and Girona with Gerard. There are 10 of us, 4 adults and 6 children, ages ranging from 5 to 14. Arranging the tour was easy, communication with BCN Hidden Tours was fast and clear. Gerard helped us decide on a tour that was just right for us. On the day of the tour, Gerard picked us up from our apartment in Barcelona in a comfortable minibus (with a driver). Gerard shared interesting historical tidbits about Barcelona, Girona and Catalonia in general during the drive. Gerard made Besalu and Girona come alive for us - he knows those towns so well! He accommodated our interests and remained flexible with the kids' needs. Gerard is incredibly knowledgeable, speaks 7 languages fluently (his English is perfect!), and clearly loves what he does. He is easy to connect with, both for adults and kids. Overall, just an incredible experience. I very enthusiastically recommend Gerard and BCN Hidden Tours.
