Nestled in the heart of the glorious beauty of the Niagara Peninsula, in Beamsville Ontario, Cornerstone Estate’s relaxed and tranquil surroundings provide the perfect natural conditions to produce some of the most exceptional wines available. Founded in 2002, this family owned and operated winery creates premium quality wines from their own meticulously handpicked and hand sorted grapes. At present, Cornerstone Estate is concentrating their production efforts on limited productions, which results in only the finest quality VQA certified wines. We are proud to offer an impressive line of white and red wine varieties. Their award winning Ice Wines are among the most popular, but over the past few years the Fruit Wines and Fine Ports have gained particular favour with wine lovers and connoisseurs all around the world.
Nina is an excellent wine tasting ambassador for Cornerstone Estate Winery. She puts everything she has into making you understand what makes each wine different from the other before you take your first sip of each. We have spent several visits at this winery over the last 2 years, sometimes bringing friends, sometimes bringing other family members and many times just my wife and I. We have bought cases composed of over a dozen varieties of their wines. Keep an open mind and taste everything that is being offered. This winery narrowly beat out 3 other wineries of the 44 wineries that we have visited in the Valley, Bench, Beamsville, Jordan and NOTL areas for the amount of different selections that we have chosen. We selected a Riesling from this winery to stand beside a picture of our daughter's Sourdough bread on her MoBarrie Bakes Instagram page.

A hidden gem that was undoubtedly our favourite stop amongst many on a warm August afternoon: friendly staff, fabulous flavourful wine, lovely setting ('wine among the vines'). We will return once their outdoor tasting area is up & running! We bought 3 bottles: 2 chardonnay, 1 cab franc. Thanks to the owner Andrew for giving the visit a personal feel- and for snapping a few great photos of us! Cheers.

What a great experience! My husband and I ( and 11 others) spent two hours in a warm and cozy kitchen watching chef Andrew Thorne prepare a delicious roast beef and Yorkshire pudding dinner (including two courses before and dessert after). He explained as he went and a good time was had by all. In particular, we learned how to make the perfect Yorkshire pudding! Oh.... and we had Good Earth wine with each course. It was all very yummy and we brought leftovers home for lunch tomorrow. I'm already googling the next class to take! Thank you Andrew and Nicolette!

One of the first true boutique wineries in Niagara with vineyards first planted in 1980. Thirty Bench has hit full stride in the last few years with the focus on small lots of low-yield handcrafted wines. The winery has earned numerous accolades, including Canada's Best Small Winery of the Year 2015 and Winemaker of the Year 2015. Single-block, old-vine Rieslings are the soul of Thirty Bench; equally fine reds and Chardonnays have also emerged since the 2005 vintage. At the winery, enjoy personalized seated tastings with beautiful views of the vineyards and Lake Ontario in the distance. A visit to the rustic winery, or joining their email list, is the best way to access the winery's new and library wines. Winter - October 13 to June 30: 11am - 5pm Saturday’s 10am to 6pm Summer - July 1 to October 10: 10am - 6pm

Went wine tasting for my friend’s birthday & we were served by Emily. Although she was new to the team, she showed great knowledge and had a bubbly and fun personality. It was our first and most memorable stop we made that day! Being in the wine industry myself I was very impressed! Thanks again!????????

the most impressive here is the stunning view sitting in the patio, from tje ridge you see the beautiful flower and vinyard, and the éncarpment at the back, while the lake in front of your eyes, and you can see CN tower at distsnce. it was lovely that my and my coleague took both lunch and came back for dinner here to try wine during our work trip. the food is nice, waitress is very nice and lovely, and the wine we tried (their pinot griggio) is very good that we drank beyond our normal and almost get drunk :). it is very relaxing to have meal in the patio. we will comeback to buy ưine at the store.

We experienced our first true Malivoire experience during the 2020 Ice Wine Festival, where my husband and I agreed that their 2018 Gewürztraminer Icewine was the best ice wine we tasted over our winery passport. Affectionately known at the winery as 'their liquid gold'. While there, we took advantage of their tasting room, sampling the Che Bello and the Gamay's. We left with a few bottles! Their customer service and attention to detail is fantastic, and it helps that you can pick up some cheese to accompany your wine right on site. A few months after our visit, we were left wanting more and the free shipping of 6+ bottles during COVID helped us in stocking up our wine fridge. I've recommended a stop at Malivoire to all friends and family heading to Niagara, or looking to purchase a bottle or two online. It's truly an underrated gem! A few of our favourite bottles: - The Che Bello ($17.95) Sparkling is a must try, especially at the under $20 price. Simple, light and refreshing. - The Musque Spritz ($24.95) is another hit for the perfect summer backyard patio day at home during quarantine. Similar to the Che Bello, it's filled with unexpected deliciousness and is very light to the taste. - Small Lot Gamay ($21.95) - I'm a big red fan and this hits all the notes. - Stouck Viognier ($24.95) - Big fan of viognier and Niagara viognier is hard to find at the LCBO. Take advantage when at the winery to find this beauty. Hints of tangerine, pear and ginger...Mmm. Highly recommend a visit! You won't be disappointed.

We loved our tour of the vineyard, Brock who took us round was knowledgable and friendly. There was four of us and we had one person take us around! The tour involved a walk up and down some vines, through the presses and into the barrel cellar. The samples we had were generous and we particularly enjoyed the Riesling.

This place is a must do if you’re in the twenty valley area. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They’re clearly passionate about what they do and are amazing at recommending bitters for cocktails etc. Great variety of spirits and they’re packaging is lovely which means it looks nice in a bar set up. A must do.
