Basingstoke (/ˈbeɪzɪŋstoʊk/ BAY-zing-stohk) is the largest town in the modern county of Hampshire (Southampton and Portsmouth being cities.) It is situated in south central England, and lies across a valley at the source of the River Loddon. It is located 30 miles (48 km) northeast of Southampton, 48 miles (77 km) southwest of London, and 19 miles (31 km) northeast of the county town and former capital Winchester. According to the 2016 population estimate the town had a population of 113,776. It is part of the borough of Basingstoke and Deane and part of the parliamentary constituency of Basingstoke. Basingstoke is often nicknamed "Doughnut City" or "Roundabout City" because of the number of large roundabouts.

A Makerspace is a not-for-profit community of people who share tools, knowledge and experience to make things such as craft items, sculptures, works of art, a robot, or a piece of code. Makerspace tools range from lathes, laser cutters, and 3D printers, to more traditional wood and metal-working tools. By meeting together in a friendly collaborative atmosphere we can learn new skills, practice old ones, and benefit from each others’ experience. We can also pool our resources to get tools that we couldn’t individually afford or justify, or have the room in our homes to keep.

We are a local youth club with adults with additional needs. We frequently visit pots2paint and stef is amazing. Every time we visit the members can create wonderful items using a range of techniques that stef shows us. She is also extremely patient and kind. we that we are able to visit a quiet setting, spend time painting without feeling rushed and be able to ask an expert when needed. If you haven’t been the venue is definitely worth a visit!

My Brother and I visited The Oxford Gun Company to try some demo guns and to have our first lesson. We received a very warm welcome from Doug and David. Our lesson with David was great fun. David provided excellent coaching and a very enjoyable experience. My Brother and I both broke more clays than we imagined would be possible during our first lesson. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We joined and very much look forward to our next lesson. I can highly recommend The Oxford Gun Company to anyone looking to get started with the sport.
5. Manydown Tennis
Manydown Tennis is open to members and non-members alike with 4 outdoor and 2 floodlight indoor tennis courts. 3 full time coaches are on hand to organise all your tennis for you. Try tennis for the first time or join one of our tournament training teams. Everyone are equal to us. We have turn up and play sessions for adults on Tuesdays and Thursdays and for juniors on Mondays and Saturdays.
