Sit,relax, dance, chat,in the rustic setting at 1627 Bar& Lounge. We serve all types of drinks, however,we specialise in rum-base drinks as the word rum came from Barbados. 1627 was named for the year the first settlers to the island arrived in Barbados and they landed in Holetown. The cocktail menu was created for the 1627 Bar and Lounge by award-winning International Bar Chef:Jamaal Bowen.Enjoy.
We absolutely love this bar and went here regularly during our 3 week stay in Holetown The bar is run by the lovely GG, Rick and Danny who are so welcoming and friendly They have a wide range of drinks & cocktails which are excellent. My new favourite is their Rum Sour The atmosphere is great with fantastic guest musicians and we met fun people every night we were there Can’t wait to come back ????

Naaman's BarStop is an unexpectedly delightful spot to hang out, located behind the “Out of City” bus stop after the St. Lawrence Gap entrance. Warm, classy and engaging, our bar offers a perfect Bajan rum shop experience. It’s ideal for a cool drink and light bites, at very affordable prices. For a little fun, come sing your heart out at our Karaoke nights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, from 8pm. Join us for Open Mic on Wednesday, live Jazz & Blues on Fridays and the vocals of Wesu Wallace from "The Voice UK" on Sunday nights

Restaurant with live jazz and steel pan music are featured on Thursday and Friday nights. We feature relaxing waterfront seating, tasty Caribbean cuisine, invigorating coffees, free WIFI, vegetarian food options, refreshing cocktails and great music. Art displays are also part of our ambience, great customer service, daily happy hour, beer specials, views of a historic city. A place both visitors to the island and locals adore. We have been situated on the Waterfront of Bridgetown for 34 years and we welcome people from all over the globe. Our desserts are especially delightful, featuring our carrot cake, stewed guava and delicious bread and butter pudding all made by our local chef. We invite you to come listen to our VSOP Dixieland Jazz band on Thursday nights from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm, while Friday nights we erupt with sounds of the Caribbean Jazz Fusion James D. Lovell. Saturday nights are especially great for those looking for an intimate setting.
Wonderful lunch at the Waterfront Cafe in Bridgetown Barbados yesterday. Gorgeous view of the canal and parliament buildings and excellent food. Highlight of the meal? Their world famous Bread Pudding for dessert!

We went for the Sunday BBQ ($40) which was excellent. We had the lamb, others with us had the chicken or fish and everyone really enjoyed their meals. (The BBQ starts at 12:30 and I would recommend you get there early as there can be quite a lineup.) The rum punch is reasonable and potent. Entertainment was provided by Mr. Impact aka Mr. Wonderful (I’m not kidding) who sang and played steel pan (both very well). A scantily clad dancer dragged people up from the audience and managed to embarrass the participating men to the amusement and delight of the crowd. A good time was had by all.
