An unusual venue located in a small park in Baraboo, OPZ boasts a number of little seen animals all identified with interesting signage. Prairie dogs, a tiny donkey and a large llama sharing a space, Canada geese, and an exuberantly noisy duck are highlights. Don't miss the beautiful Canada lynx! Many of the animals could use more space. Lots of visitors leaving voluntary contributions might eventually improve that.

How pleasant to be able to walk along this well planned trail to enjoy the river and the many little park areas along it. What a real asset to this pretty little town of Baraboo.

Pewits nest is a little out of the way but well worth the effort to find it. Parking can be difficult and obey the posted signs. The gorge is beautiful and the scenery spectacular. The fall colors make it even more spectacular. If you are a camera buff there is so much to photograph. Sit and just enjoy the quiet beauty, it truly is one of wisconsins must sees.
