This year we made our choice for the Makalu-trek. A beautiful of the beaten trek, with reasonable lodges up till basecamp since a few years. The last time I did this trek is 23 years ago. In those days, there were no lodges after Tashigaon. Manager Ramesh from Kailash Himalaya Trek proposed to take guide Bhim Bahadur Magar with us. We are so happy to say that Bhim was really a fantastic guide. His guiding was very professional and so helpful. Not only for us but also fort he porters, in the lodges and in the kitchen. His social behaviour with the locals is great and he is a good cook! Thanks again Ramesh. Everything was well organised as always. Tom Franken and Peter Schampers, Holland

We had a well-organized trip with a very friendly female guide, an also very kind female assistant guide and a strong, smart and friendly porter. We have seen a lot of interesting places, met many lovely people und we had many wonderful mountain views. Because of the NAT team, we saw many things (temple, holy places and caves, ...), we wouldn’t' t have seen without them. We can recommend Jeevans flexible and personal services. We will come to Nepal again!
When the trek that you are going to do is absolute and definite, all you have to do is book it immediately. This is what the Langtang Valley Trek is all about. This trek has no obstruction until the natural disaster takes place. But the best thing about it is it takes place near Kathmandu, the place where you have landed for the first time in Nepal. You start this trek on time, and you also finish this trek on time. And what you see from the starting time to the finishing time is the valley of glaciers, mountains covered with snow, and various types of flowers, such as white daisies, purple foxgloves, yellow snapdragons, and rhododendrons. Langtang Valley Trek corresponds with this by showcasing the breath-taking and stunning view of mountains which ascend more than 7000 m, and these mountains include Langtang Lirung (7227 m) and Ganesh Himal (7422 m). Another mountain that you see is Dorje Lakpa (6966 m).

Having come to Nepal for the first time in my life after 48 years, I had no expectations whatsoever. All I had in mind is to have time for myself, with myself, experience the mountains around Everest, glaciers and some tough trek. Needless to say I got what I wish for and much, much more. From the local cuisine I had daily (not the western dishes they obviously are accustomed to preparing for tourists), the Long walks (up and down though mostly I remember the upward slopes), the amazing views of this remote part of the planet, mighty mountains covered in snow and the very (extremely) cold weather at night, even indoors. Yet in some way felt quite purifying for both body and soul. The people that took me in the out (Tek, porter and Sudip, the guide) were incredible, they made me feel at home, taking care of me at all times to make sure I stayed safe and happy (given this time of Covid the number of tourists were minimal and yet felt at all times taken care of and never alone, except when I so wanted). I would recommend it for the people who want to feel an adventure, who want to see the wild, who want to feel humbled by the sheer size of these mountains, fresh air and water, icy/snowy tracks, astonishing glaciers, who want to get lost a bit from life and come out stronger, both physically and mentally for whatever challenge may be waiting for them around the corner on their daily lives. In summary it is a trip more to the inside than to the outside but requiring a lot of physical strength and commitment to complete this trip. I just finished it yesterday and feel quite accomplished. I think I will return with my some and wife at some point in my life, as it is something it is (now in retrospect) better to be shared than showed in pictures which will never reflect the feelings of actually being part of it. Are you upo for it? Apparently I was ;-)

Mardi Himal Trek is being popular with all the trekkers. Even there is a craze among the Nepalese for the Mardi Himal Trek; how can the international trekkers keep themselves away from its eye-catching beauty. Trekking is walking on a trail that traverses villages and that consists of what you have least expected in your mind, but that's the way of trekking in the remote region in the world whether you are trekking in the green Annapurna or a desert-like Upper Mustang. Mardi Himal Trek is a box of this. On your side, all you need to have is the mood to overcome this with the spirit of the trekker, and you should push yourself to enjoy the stunning view of the mountains. You are walking uphill and downhill only to be in the accolade winning natural beauty place in the world. The beauty of a remote place like this cannot be underestimated before trekking in it which is always backed by good restaurants where at the end of the day you can have delicious food.
