Canyoneering in Kawasan Falls is one of the famous activities you can do in the south of Cebu. This involves trekking, swimming, and even jumping in high cliffs with fresh water and traversing the canyon where the source of the famous Kawasan falls is coming from. If you like an extreme adventure this activity is something that you should not miss.
Inclusions: Motorbike going to the jump off point, Professional photographer and tour guide, Local guide, Private tour, Complimentary Lunch Included, Round Trip and Private Transportation from any hotel in Cebu or Mactan, Snacks to be brought during the activity
Exclusions: Camera Rental (P1000 - goPro Hero5 and up, SD Card not included)
This is a 3.5 = Pretty good. the guides were kind and resourceful. For the price this was a lovely way to spend the afternoon, the snorkling and island were beautiful. The guides did not actually know much about the islands or the environment, but were good people who need jobs. The boat was leaking diesel and they had to repair the engine several times. I didn't blame them, but the tour operator definitely needs more sustainable boats, it just does not make sense to send gas leaking, oily boats out into such beauty. Tourists - take a bit more time and find the highest rated green and in terms of guide training!

Our airbnb host arranged a driver to take us to Oslob to swim with whale sharks and then to Kawasan falls and the canyoneering adventure. I can't say enough about this company. Safety conscious, our guide Lando was assigned to just the two of us and went above an beyond to help me (a senior citizen in decent but not perfect shape) to complete the entire course, including jumping off cliffs and sliding down waterfalls. I noticed guides from other companies not observing all safety practices but Southbund's motto was safety first including top notch equipment. Note, you will traverse 8 km of rocky terrain with uneven slippery rocks, much of the time in the river. We also did the 950 m long zipline option, which was the first time we ziplined. Great fun, very, very high up above the valley. The food was great too. Probably the best experience of the six weeks we spent in the Philippines. Highly recommended.
Foster your kinship with wildlife as you befriend or have a look at some whale sharks. If you're looking for turquoise blue waters and promising adventures, then look no further; you'll definitely love what Cebu has to offer. From swimming with gentle giants to jumping into deep waters — this trip is definitely one for those who crave and love a sweet natural escapade. We promise you a spectacular adventure that you will never forget.
