I based my decision to select this driver in 2018 based on Trip Advisor reviews. Our experience with Gaetano did not match the positive reviews he was getting in Trip Advisor! Although competent as a driver, Gaetano was not a very friendly, talkative, or particularly helpful person. We wasted a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have an enjoyable informative experience in the leg of our journey that he was our driver for. Maybe he really prefers Italian natives. In retrospect, we wished we could have used Salvatore Pagano of Ravellocabs! Although the ride he gave us in Italy was short, he was friendly, refined, and helpful. We would have vastly enjoyed spending the entire day with him!

Cuma was the oldest Greek colony of the West surrounded by an imposing fortification of tuff blocks. The archaeological park currently includes the acropolis, the sacred area where temples are located and the Antro della Sibilla, a dark place in which the oracle prophesies its prophecies. The guided tour will unfold in the upper part of the park currently open to the public, including the acropolis with its temples and the Sibyl's Cave, to end with a splendid panoramic view of the beach below and the agora. Very few remains can still be seen today of the port and of the ancient city of Miseno. The greatest monument we have come to is certainly the Piscina Mirabilis, a colossal tank built for the water supply of the imperial fleet. You will have the opportunity to visit the ancient cistern excavated entirely in the tuff and admire its impressive 5-nave structure, capable of holding up to 12,000 cubic meters of water.
Inclusions: Authorized guide, Private tour
Exclusions: Entrance ticket to the excavations, Private transportation

The flagship of the Samnites, Greeks and Romans, the Campi Flegrei area was also very appreciated by all the rulers of the following periods: from the Angioini to the Aragonese, passing through the Spanish Viceroyalty to the Bourbon House. This experience has been consciously designed to allow you to visit what is considered one of the most impressive volcanic areas in the world. We will sail early in the morning on a comfortable rubber dinghy, immediately reaching the ancient port of Pozzuoli where we will disembark to visit the glorious Temple of Serapis. After this brief stop we will continue sailing in the Gulf of Pozzuoli to reach, first the characteristic port of Baia and, then, the Pennata di Bacoli island where we will drop anchor to allow you to bathe in an enchanting place and thanks to our equipment for snorkeling and the SUP board you can admire and swim in an exclusive seabed full of testimonies and historical finds.
Inclusions: Use of Snorkelling equipment
Exclusions: Beach towel
We spent an amazing weekend with Davide. On Saturday we visited Procida and on Sunday we visited Ischia. He gave to us also some good tips for Napoli. We strongly recommend the tour with him.

A rich walk in the name of archeology ... Starting from the ancient city of Cuma, a Greek settlement famous for the Antro della Sibilla which everyone turned to for advice, we will go back up the acropolis to reach the ancient temples of Apollo and Zeus. We will move to visit the ancient thermal complex of Baia, where the ancient Romans had built their otium villas taking advantage of the benefits of thermal water. It will end with a real beauty ... the Mirabilis Pool, an ancient underground tank of the Roman fleet of Emperor Augustus

You need to stay in the area to have temporary residence, cos the place is open for the residents and visitors, so every local hotel is good. The place is old style and the hot water comes from underground natural geysers. The sauna and hot baths are almost too hot and the outside swimming pool is warm and truly wonderful too. You need at least 3 hours to enjoy this place and the bar serves great local food. 5 stars from me!!!
Visit the ancient Phlegrean Fields with a local guide and get an authentic Neapolitan streetfood lunch.
Inclusions: Fried Seafood and water., Private transportation
