Explore Scotch whisky and its fascinating heritage when you visit our home on the West Coast of Scotland, where a warm welcome awaits you at the A. D. Rattray Whisky Shop. Established in 1868, discover more about A. D. Rattray, our story, our history and our whiskies. Learn how we work with distilleries from across Scotland, sourcing interesting single casks and spirit, and view our working Sample Room, where our casks are meticulously evaluated for quality. As single cask whiskies are at the heart of what we do, you will find two casks “on tap” in our Cask Room. Take in the atmosphere of a traditional whisky warehouse and taste whisky straight from the cask. I visited McCallum Bagpipes to try out a set of small pipes. Had great service, some helpful playing tips and a tour round the factory. The workmanship that goes into their pipes is first rate. I’ve now got a Highland set as well! Thanks to Stuart and the team.
