The Bargany Gardens are well worth a visit and one we look forward to it each year and are open in May only, daily 10.00-16.30. A donation is requested, but well worth it to see the colours of the plants in the gardens. As well as grazed parkland, there is an early-20th-century woodland garden and rock garden which house displays of rhododendrons and azaleas. The early-19th-century walled garden has a small semi-circular garden at one end with interesting trees and shrubs. I had to put the date of our visit as being May 2020, but because of the restrictions due to Covid this year, we weren't able to visit. But God willing our visit will be back on for May 2021.

After visiting the museum, Burns Cottage and Auld Kirk I love to spend a few hours just walking around, down to Brigadoon, then go up inside the monument to appreciate the views. When quiet this place is so peaceful, lots of benches to just sit and enjoy the views, beauty and peace of this special place

This is a beautiful little peace of paradise. As soon as you walk through the gates, the smell of the Rose's just hits you. Its amazing! The colours are just wonderful, there is a lovely pond and a little maze and a memorial garden, it's such a lovely little hideaway garden, somewhere just to get away from it all. We had the place to ourselves as I dont think many people know about it. Highly recommend visiting!
