An Lochan Uaine (Green Loch)

Reviewed By Macle0dM - Edinburgh, United Kingdom

What a lovely walk through a woodland trail from the Glenmore visitor centre along the Revoan Pass the the Green Loch. We met some local people who told us that the water colour is because the fairies wash their socks in the water in the evening. Magical place.

Ardverikie Estate

Reviewed By samanthab576 - Coventry, United Kingdom

I booked onto a quad bike tour around the estate and was blown away with how lovely it is. After the tour we stayed to explore the loch and it’s beautiful inland beach! We were so lucky with the weather and paddling in the loch was just what we needed. The estate itself is huge, and from what I saw, very well kept! Amazing place.

Aviemore Railway Station

Reviewed By RossOO - Kirkcaldy, United Kingdom

Nightmare journey caused by Scotrail delays and changes to carriages meant our first class seats were lost. Not happy but what could not be faulted was the customer service at the station provided by an empathetic and helpful lady whose name I have forgotten otherwise I'd share but you know who you are helping me on the 1027 to Edinburgh (finally getting the 1123)

Frank Bruce Sculpture Trail

Reviewed By PatrickRiceFCMI - Blaydon, United Kingdom

Lovely woodland trail featuring several excellent wood carvings and sculptures. I have to say, I wasn't expecting anything as detailed as this when it was first described to me. The quality of the woodwork and sculptures is excellent - all the more surprising given that it's entirely free. Free entry/admission, and nearby parking (chargeable).
