The Māori call Auckland Tāmaki Makaurau — a maiden desired by 100 lovers,
and a valuable territory fought over for centuries for its fertile land and
natural harbors on the Pacific Ocean (to the east) and Tasman Sea (to the
west). Today, it’s New Zealand’s largest city: A vibrant and diverse place
where nature and urban life go hand-in- hand, with 48 volcanic cones, more
than 50 islands, and 29,000 km of coastline and beaches just minutes away
from the arts and shopping of the central city.

Ding Dong Lounge is a Rock bar in the down town vicinity, welcoming business patrons & rockers alike. As an alternative to the Viaduct & Britomart, Ding Dong Lounge hosts a steady roster of Rock n Roll DJs and weekly live bands with a great food & drinks menu available all night! The main bar downstairs features booths- great for catching up with friends after a long day at work. Each booth has a screen displaying music videos which accompany the songs pumping over the PA. Our upstairs bar is available for special events, private functions, parties and live music.

Housebar, with its Art Deco setting reminiscent of the roaring Twenties, the seats are plush, the lighting is low and the cocktails are decadent. In keeping with the mid-century furnishings and Art Deco glam of the hotel it resides within, Housebar is an atmospheric hideaway intimate enough for a cosy date-night and lively enough for larger social gatherings. The drinks menu pays homage to the hotels historical past, with classically inspired cocktails mixed with precision and care.
Came in the other night with a few friends. The atmosphere was amazing and Emanuele was extremely welcoming and made an amazing cocktail ???? would definetly go back just for Emanuele's service and cocktail!

Pt Chev's best kept secret. A classy little cocktail bar with a rock 'n' roll edge. Situated in the entrance way to an old cinema built in 1929. Cupid bar is a small, intimate venue; a local meet up spot; an independent, women-led business; an occasional live music venue; one of the best times you will have. Careful. You might never leave.
