Things to do in Asuncion, Paraguay: The Best Government Buildings
The "Mother of Cities" was founded in 1537, and declared independence from Spain in 1811. The charming historic section can be explored on foot. The friendly Paraguayan capital, gateway to the grassy Gran Chaco region, has long been a center of music, poetry and the arts, but only in recent years has Asunción been able to escape its long history of dictatorship rule. The Government Palace is a stunning piece of architecture and is worth viewing from front and back. The guards can get a bit funny if you get too close but otherwise it is worth a visit

If outside you rest impressive with the arquitectura’s beautiful, the best and nicest building in Assuncion, inside is a real Palace
