Astypalea yachting providing services in skippered yacht chartering. We decided to finally make our dreams come true by devoting our life to the sea, tourism and hospitality, providing superior value, memories and experience, but first of all safety and affordability, and we are so looking forward making new friendships.

In the picturesque hamlet of Maltezana you can paddle a kayak in the most winding bay of Astypalaia and find your own alternative shelter for swimming and sunbathing. Explore wrecks, monuments and lost ancient settlements on organized excursions or alone.

I think I ve said everything already in the title! On the one side you shouldn't miss it, but on the other side the road is terrible. we ve been there with a scooter and it was not the most pleasant experience.. i dont think it would be much better with a car..

The crystal clear, turquoise water in Plakes lets the large stone slabs shine through, urging you to take a bath.

Worth visiting beach, among best on Astypalea. It takes app 25 min drive from Chora, however during last app 12 min you have to drive on a dirt road. Surrounding landscape, typical dry Aegean Sea mountain pays off the hassle to arrive there. Beach is wide and some trees provide shade. Crystal clean and beautiful water !

Considering it was early August, the beach was not overcrowded. Avoided the SW end as the music from the bar was loud (why do these places believe that everyone wants loud music when relaxing at a beach?) and settled at the area in front of the Alegro bar/restaurant (great snacks, drinks and friendly, efficient service). Crystal clear water and that view of Chora & Castle! The cove is well secluded from the strong Northerly winds and the water is calm and ideal for long swims across the bay!
