A great experience to travel through the High Mountains Tikcha, see these emblematic sites of Morocco. Our guide was wonderful. Very friendly, spacious and confident that our experience there was well planned so that we can make the most of our day. Loved all the imperial cities, but it is essential to see the barbarian life and the amazing landscapes.

I am no stranger to walking tours and similar sort of organized tours. But this one is extra special. Mustapha is an authority on his people’s culture. Born and bred in the Imli village, he talks about his culture and his people with passion. The tour itself is superbly organized (and excellent value for time and money!). The camel riding experience was fantastic. I also chanced upon the ‘camels’ hotel’ and I can say from the state of their accommodation that they are indeed very well looked after. The trek up Mount Atlas was an experience of a lifetime. The views were stunning, made better only by some areas covered in snow. And it was a real bonus that we were a part of a fantastic group. I was with my three teenage children and the group made them feel very much welcomed, engaging them in interesting conversations. One of the tour’s highlights was the majestic waterfall, with the clearest water dropping onto rocks of various shapes and sizes, it is a wonderful experience for all the senses. But what really made the tour special is Mustapha’s family preparing a culinary feast for all ten of us. It was home-made food at its best, prepared and served with utmost care. I will remember this experience for a long time.

What a wonderful trip! Abdul was prompt and courteous and drove a clean, spacious vehicle. He expertly drove us through beautiful scenery, sharing local knowledge about the towns and landmarks we were passing. And the falls! Abdul gave us time to explore but understood it was time to go when our young children were tired. I HIGHLY recommend this excursion! We would do it again!

We knew that we wanted (female 28 & female 60) to take a multi-day trek through the valleys and villages in the Atlas Mountains, but we didn't really know how to go about setting it up. After not having luck booking such a tour in Marrakesh, we went back to our original idea of booking through High Atlas Hiking and it was definitely the better decision. Said answered our E-Mails very fast and detailed and created a private tour for us within just a day! Mohammed was a wonderful guide. He was very open about sharing his culture with us as well as being able to spontaneously change the trek for us based on our fitness and environmental factors. Hassan, our cook, was absolutely amazing. We have no idea how he managed to make delicious three course meals on top of a mountain, but we were always very full and the food was fresh. All in all, we would highly recommend High Atlas Hiking to any and all thinking about braving the High Atlas Mountains. It was the best experience of our trip and made our vacation very memorable. Thank you, High Atlas Hiking, for your wonderful work!
