I am no stranger to walking tours and similar sort of organized tours. But this one is extra special. Mustapha is an authority on his people’s culture. Born and bred in the Imli village, he talks about his culture and his people with passion. The tour itself is superbly organized (and excellent value for time and money!). The camel riding experience was fantastic. I also chanced upon the ‘camels’ hotel’ and I can say from the state of their accommodation that they are indeed very well looked after. The trek up Mount Atlas was an experience of a lifetime. The views were stunning, made better only by some areas covered in snow. And it was a real bonus that we were a part of a fantastic group. I was with my three teenage children and the group made them feel very much welcomed, engaging them in interesting conversations. One of the tour’s highlights was the majestic waterfall, with the clearest water dropping onto rocks of various shapes and sizes, it is a wonderful experience for all the senses. But what really made the tour special is Mustapha’s family preparing a culinary feast for all ten of us. It was home-made food at its best, prepared and served with utmost care. I will remember this experience for a long time.

Mustapha organized a fantastic tour. We enjoyed the whole day. All the activities were amazing, from the Camel ride to the hiking trail to the waterfalls. Afterwards we had a really delicious, huge portioned meal of traditional morrocan cuisine, prepared by his mother and grandmother at his place. Mustapha is very heartwarming person and takes great care of everyone. He is very communicative and speaks fluent and nice English, which is not always common for the tour guides around here. We can highly recommend the tour. Last but not least the price is fantastic for the whole experience.

If you are planning a visit to Marrakesh, this trip will make you discover a whole different face of Morocco. Mustapha brought us to his village and to his house. He told us about their history and their traditions, he showed little pieces of day-life in the Atlas mountains (astonishing experience in the Saturday market). His family welcomed us with an amazing meal (best tajine of my life). Everything was very well-organized, we never missed anything and we had a very pleasant day together with Mustapha and the rest of the group. It has been a very good choice and I think we all brought back something from those mountains. ! Thank you Mustapha

A great experience to travel through the High Mountains Tikcha, see these emblematic sites of Morocco. Our guide was wonderful. Very friendly, spacious and confident that our experience there was well planned so that we can make the most of our day. Loved all the imperial cities, but it is essential to see the barbarian life and the amazing landscapes.

We booked a day trip to the Atlas Mountains through our Riad. We were delighted to find that our driver for the day was Jamal (Laaouidi) who had already picked us up at the airport on our arrival. He was absolutely the best person you could have to show you the sights and give you information about the Atlas Mountains, the Berber people, and take you to some wonderful places along the way. Jamal could not have been friendlier - indeed by the end of our trip we felt we had made a new friend. He stopped whenever we thought there was a photo opportunity, introduced us to our trekking guide Abdul (who was fantastic) and also made sure we had a lovely lunch. He even allowed us to practice our french with him. Nothing was too much trouble. Our day trip was truly memorable - Jamal really made this day special.

This is one of the best things I've ever done on holiday, and cannot praise Mohamed enough. The day was carefully structured and along with the waterfalls the walking in the mountains, and the drive there, was spectacular. We went on a Saturday which meant we could also visit the Berber weekly market. To be able to walk off the mountains and into Mohamed's family home for tagine was a privilege and something I will never forget. A thousand thank yous and we will return, inshallah.
