An amazing trip in the Atlas mountains. The experience in the mountain is far better than the Agafay one IMO. I was hiking a bit (1h) with a guide living in this village, he was speaking french, english, arab and amazigh, so it was easy to share. He could explain me the whole berber lifestyle, how they cultivate fruits, and a lot of information about the area, the mountains, etc. The mountains with snow are gorgeous. Karim, the driver, was also very nice, he explained me a lot of things about many villages we have seen during the journey. He was very knowledgable, he even suggested me some other good trips around Marrakech, so I definitely thank him for this amazing adventure. What I like the most is that you enter a real new culture, it's not a fake folklore like we can see sometimes, it's true barbar life. I had the luxury to be able to eat at Karim's cousin home inside the village, it was a really good chicken and vegetables tajine, the best one I had in Marrakech. I also had a really good tea, some banana and oranges.

Booked this before we left ireland and all further communication was done through e-mails, we went to Djemaa El Fna (square of the dead) at 7.15am as requested pick up was slightly later mabye 10 or 15 mins a mini bus arrived and we and the other people got onboard , some people had already been picked up at other points, we headed out of Marrakech and drove for about 40 mins where we stopped at a service station for people to use the loos , smoke or have a coffee, after this we travelled for another few hours until we reached the mountains and greated by our berber guide Yousef and the walking commenced , top tip, trainers are a must for comfort and grip as you will not be walking on level footpaths but a dusty stoney hilly terrain, all the while you will hear the history from your guide of both the location and berber peoples history , you will stop in a local village to experience the sights and sounds , after another short walk you will come to a high vantage point where the view of the water falls is beautiful , take some photos , have a drink and rest for 20mins or so for the final trek to the falls themselves, once there you can elect to cross the water by boat for a few euro of skip across the stepping stones , we had a lunch here and spent an hour or so at the falls , the ascent was nearly all steps uphill and truth be told the hike took it out of my 56 year old legs but if your reasonably fit and take your time its no problem , we stopped off to feed and get pics of the monkeys that roam the slopes, short hop then back to the minibus and the journey back to marrakech, long old trip there and back but definately one to tick off the bucket list....

Thank you for a wonderful tour to Toubkal. Everything was great from start to finish. When choosing a tracking company, you immediately won over with the simplicity and capacity of the answers. We received a transfer from Marrakech and back, an overnight stay in the village of Imlil, delicious food, an overnight stay in refuge, attentive and kind guide Hussein, man with mule, the necessary equipment. By the way, the tajine at the Imlil hotel was the tastiest we have tasted in Morocco. Thanks to the chef. Thanks to the guide Hussein, we, having no trekking experience, were able to climb Toubkal and are very happy to make our dream come true. I recommend these guys to everyone. Will remember the beauty of your nature for a long time. Good luck with your business!

I booked a four days trip with another agency but Red city tour were in charge of the transport for us. I wanted to spend one night in Zagora Sand Dunes and then one night in the Sahara desert. The remaining night was spent in the lovely B&B. Nordine, the driver is fantastic. A skillful, friendly and a helpful driver. We had numerous stops to refresh and stretch our legs. The whole trip was fun and mind blowing landscapes. It would take me hours if I had to recount all the amazing places we visited along the way. Thank you Nordine for making the trip fun and for keeping us safe. Hope to make this trip again as a family in the future inchallah. Hafida
