Located on 1,300 acres next to the Trinity River in the heart of north Arlington. Hiking and biking trails, playground and picnic areas, as well as diverse flora and fauna.
This HUGE park skirts the Trinity river and offers playgrounds, picnic areas, wide open spaces, and miles of walking trails (both paved & unpaved) & bike trails (both paved & unpaved). Is it a fantastic park & if often teeming with people on warm winter days or cool summer days

I travel tons with my dogs(kids) all over the country and this is truly one of the best. Half of this is in the woods with nice trails and benches and the other half is more like a typical dog park area, all being very large as is the style in Texas! The dogs love this park and it also has paved trails next to the park that you can walk if you prefer that. Its located right behind the animal shelter for Arlington and there is a library also right there.

We simply happened upon this park while exploring Arlington! Just outside the AT&T stadium is this beautiful place to walk, with ducks to feed, and bridges to cross over or go under! Right nearby is the Miller Tavern and some other pubs to eat/drink at as the sun goes down! The park is great for kids of all ages 0-100!

We went there yesterday with family, and we were pleasantly surprised (only because we hadn't been there before) by the nice splash area for kids. Kids of all ages were enjoying the water on hot Texas day. When we don't want to gear up for going to a pool or major water park, stopping by the splash park with family will be a good option in the future.
