Ardrossan (Gaelic: Àird Rosain, "headland of the deer/oxen") is a town on the North Ayrshire coast in south-western Scotland. Although there are high levels of deprivation around the town centre of Ardrossan, the town is gentrifying but with some suburban developments around the outskirts of the town. The town has a population of roughly 11,000 and forms part of a conurbation with Saltcoats and Stevenston. Ardrossan is located on the east shore of the Firth of Clyde.

This is a beautiful little memorial garden, it's always well maintained and looked after, with a few nice wee benches to sit on. You hardly notice it from the road as its sunken into the ground, but nice wee place to sit and relax if your out for a wee wander around!

We visited this while looking at ardrossan castle. It's a lovely monument which is well maintained. The views are amazing as you can see 360 degrees. Plenty of picnic tables and benches and if your following the ardrossan heritage trail theres QR codes to scan for more info. Definitely worth the steep walk for the views alone!

Lovely place to go a walk around with dogs or just for families as there’s also a swing park it’s got stunning views over Saltcoats beach and over arran and is absolutely beautiful on bonfire night to watch all the fireworks! The castle is rarely open but on an odd occasion it is and you can wonder around the castles remains.
