Lively Antwerp is a hidden gem. Its medieval streets, Renaissance monuments and vibrant nightlife tend to be overshadowed by its reputation as center of the diamond trade and as the world's fifth-largest port. Biking is a popular choice for getting around this stylish Flemish city. See thousands of Old Masters at the Royal Museum and Rubens House. Experience the bustle of life at the Grote Markt. Marvel at the art and architecture of the still unfinished Cathedral of Our Lady, started in 1351.

WalkAntwerp offers sightseeing tours of the beaten track. Receive very personal and usefull tips from a local. A private tour that can be customized to suit your interests or needs . That makes WalkAntwerp unique : the democratic approach. Walking is a big part of the tour. Good, comfortable walking shoes are required. Its not advisable to wear high heels. It's also important to have a reasonably good condition and that you should be used to walk. The tour is around 5.2 km. We will have an intense encounter with Antwerp and give you a look behind the tourist-stage. “Kiik in the kok” (look in the kitchen) as the say beautifully in Scandinavian countries. Surely most of the history of important landmarks of the city will be included in 5000 steps (give or take a few) You should definitely visit the Cathedral of Our Lady, the Meir and the Rubens House and much more …
