Day 1: Mount the bikes and off we go towards “La Manuela” a bombed out finca that once belonged to Pablo Escobar. You can still see the double walls where he hid drugs and money and find out about him in a 45-min tour. After we will ride down the plataeu on the autopista, with stops for lunch and spectacular views. After about 4 hours of riding we will get to the infamous Hacienda Nápoles where we will stay the night. Day 2: After breakfast its Safari time. On the bikes and lets go check out Escobar’s animal collection including a large population of hippos. Some of them have broken free after Hacienda Napoles was abandoned and now Colombia has a big hippo population. Depending on how much time we will spend here we can head to the waterpark after or to the museums. After lunch we will slowly make our way over dirt and paved roads though eastern Antioquia and back up 1000 m to the lake and Guatapé.

This tour was pretty fun, we're around the city from town to san Javier Graffiti streets, football soccer stadium, museums, local hoods, fruit markets.
Day 1: Mount the bikes and lets go and leave any civilization behind. For the first half of the day we will ride through the mountains in eastern Antioquia, with spectacular views, rivers and greenery. After a big lunch and a visit to a wonderful waterfall we will head towards the Río Claro Natural Reserve. This spectacular valley offers a great river, lush rain forest and caves to explore. We will spend the night at the Río Claro Resort. Day 2: After a tour through the caves and a hangout at the beaches we will cruise back towards Guatape. We climb the Plateau via the autopista where we can speed it up. The last hour of riding takes us through farms and mountains until we see the rock and the lake again.

From Guatape we will leave the mountainous plateau and head almost 1000 m down in altitude into the tropics. We will stop at waterfalls for swims and jumps, enjoy the rural towns and keep cruising through farmland, rainforest and always alongside a river. In San Carlos we will enjoy a typical paisa lunch and another waterfall in the afternoon sun. From there on it is straight up dirt roads and adventurous riding back towards Guatape with views of the lake and the rock glistening in the afternoon sun.
