Now centrally located in the heart of Annapolis Royal. Located in the Ol'Newman's building, this lovely majestic building from 1922 is now home to Canada's premier antiques & art gallery. Don't miss the secluded garden which features stone and metal garden statuary, and of course an authentic Tiki Bar.
We visited Far-Fetched Antigues a few days after after hurrican Dorian hit Annapolis Royal and it was the first day of opening after the storm. A beautiful collection of antigues and collectables , especially from the Far East is ready for browsing. All very well arranged by owner Cindy, temporarely assisted by her sister Susan from Toronto. Absolutely a "must' visit in Annapolis Royal.

1939 re-creation of Canada's first permanent settlement includes costumed interpreters engaged in traditional handicrafts like woodworking.
This is a remarkable site. One can feel the presence of the Order of Good Cheer and almost envisage the sailing ships anchored in the Annapolis Basin. Champlain lives here.

There are actually TWO galleries by Tripp, one is just a few metres down the street from the other, but both are on the main St.George Street. Tripp's Handmade Gallery - (268 St.George Street) This shop is curated with locally made crafts and gifts, but everything is under $150, which is nice for anyone visiting on a budget! There is literally everything you could imagine here, all made by local creatives. We saw greeting cards, beeswax, art, magnets, wood carvings, jewelry, stained glass and more. Tripp's Art Gallery - (324 St.George Street) This is the art gallery that showcases many local painters, each with their own definitive style. Tripp has his painting studio right up front and you might even catch him there painting away by the window. They have paintings off all different sizes and prices. In the case that you want to buy a big painting, but have no way to get it home, they offer free shipping worldwide.
A museum-like atmosphere in a lovingly restored heritage home. Gallery features signed graphic work by historically significant international artists from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Artists include Kathe Kollwitz, Jack Levine, William Auerbach-Levy, Leonard Baskin, Luigi Kasimir and Canadian contemporary Michael Hames. Original etchings, woodcuts, stone lithographs, more.
