A pleasant boardwalk lined with shops, video game arcades, restaurants and cafes.

Wonderful and popular promenade along the sea for walking, biking, running. This is a main feature of Marbella center and if you stay in center city you will really enjoy it. Lots of restaurants line the promenade and you can ride bikes all the way to Puerto Banus and even Estepona. They build on to it every year, one day it will stretch from Estepona to Nerja! If you want to enjoy the Paseo a great place to stay is Sunny Corner Marbella center look it up on your search engine!

We come here often during our 3 month stay in the area. In the past I have walked to Caleta and back, stopping along the way to admire the well groomed beach and beautiful scenery of the mountain backdrop. Places for children and adults to exercise, lending book kiosks along the way, lots of drinking fountains and public toilets as well as chiringuitos and restaurants.

Absolutely love the boardwalk all year round. Summer with the Chiringuitos in full swing, winter with the sun on your face and beautiful fresh air, it’s such a wonderful addition to the coastline. We have a full video on it on our website and YouTube channel THEPOSHTRAVELBLOG so please have a look on there to get a real feeling for the boardwalk and the area.

Paseo Maritimo de la Ria

Reviewed By LuizDutraNeto - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

The beautiful boulevard of "Paseo Marítimo de la Ría" was opened in 2016 on the left bank of river Odiel. Designed by Martínez Lapeña-Torres Arquitectos, it became immediately a symbol of modern Huelva, connecting "Muelle del Tinto" and "Monumento a Colón - Monumento a la Fe Descubridora", other two top Huelva's tourist attractions. Amphitheaters, pergolas, kiosks, WCs and hundreds of pine trees complete the scene. Ideal for long walks and inner-reflections. Take your time, order some tapas, a glass of wine and get ready for an unforgettable sunset. Enjoy!

This is a lovely place for a stroll along the promenade. Plenty to see and the beaches are superb. Plenty of cafes and restaurants for refreshments.
