Our family went for dinner at the Restaurant at Flamborough Hills G&CC. We are not members however went to celebrate a birthday. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We sat on the outdoor patio in the evening and the view was wonderful and is was very quiet peaceful and serene as we overlooked the course and the surrounding woods. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful dinner this is the place.

The Knollwood Golf and Country Club is a 36 hole facility started by Jack and Hazel Harris in 1970 located in Ancaster Ontario. There are two 18 hole golf courses; The Old Course (located on 1276 Shaver Road) and The New Course (located on 914 Book Road. My wife and I have been member for the past 8 years. We usually play the Old Course. A beautiful course carved through a breath taking landscape and is dotted with many trees. The course is wonderful to play and the greens and fairways are cut/trimmed regularly. I have held a golf tournament in my Mom's name for the past 8 years as well as have many business meetings/functions at the facilities located on both the Old and New course. Our favorite is The Inn at Knollwood located at the New Course. A full functioning Home that has a full kitchen and can sleep up to 8 individuals...ideal for wedding parties or for out of town people playing a golf tournament. You wake up steps from the first tee! My wife and I are big fans of the nine and dine held Fridays from Mid June till the end of September. We go with friends, play nine holes and have an amazing meal prepared by Brett Nuttall, Chef de Cuisine. Shout to out servers Jocelyn and Sarah! General Manager Steve Tilma oversees a Team to ensure that your experience is memorable. Kudos to Dan Zimmerman (long time employee) who is the Outside Service Manager taking care of everything from golf carts to pin placements. Eric Hulsman is the Golf Department Manager. His Team is ready to work with you from everything a a round of golf to choosing the best membership package. I have had the opportunity to work with Kayla Bonsack, the Food and Beverage Coordinator on our golf tournament but her specialty is weddings......they have a tent set up that provides gorgeous views of the sunset. If you have a wedding in your future call Kayla first! So, if you are looking to play a round of gold with friends, Nine and Dine with your spouse, perhaps a work function/meeting or a wedding, I suggest you check out the fine people at Knollwood first......you will be pleasantly surprised . Mention my name and Eric may even give you a golf cart for free for your round of golf!

I really enjoyed this course. The greens were rolling true, and the fairways were forgiving but you still had to put a good swing on the ball. We played the gold tees and the carry for some of the tee shots was a good challenge.
