Great little cozy bar tucked away on a small alley. The beer selection was great, the service was excellent (and very helpful with recommendations). One of our favorite little bars in Amsterdam!

The Poolhole is een van Amsterdam's nieuwste aanwinsten op het gebied van bar/café met grote poolbiljart mogelijkheden.
very chill bar, great location, beer isn’t too expensive, great soundtrack and enough entertainment(pool and other games) would definitely recommend

Established in 1670 and located in the center of a shopping, entertainment and nightlife district, this popular pub is famous for spontaneous parties that involve all patrons.
Stunning authentic old bar with a great atmosphere, good beer and we had wonderful service too from the friendly and helpful barman Hans. Stay for a drink, not just a photo.

A beer lover's paradise, this Amsterdam institution serves literally hundreds of different kinds.
This is the best beer bar in Amsterdam maybe in the world. The staff is so nice and friendly. The place have the biggest beer card I have ever seen. If you like beers you should go there.

The oldest café of Amsterdam. It was built directly at the harbour of Amsterdam in 1606 and used to be an inn for sailors and tradesmen. Nowadays, Café Karpershoek is a “bruine kroeg” (brown pub). Here you can have a drink in a real Amsterdam atmosphere. Have the innkeeper pour you a Heineken while you have a conversation with a local customer.
If you’ve read any of my other reviews, you’ll quickly see the hubs and I love history ... and beer. As soon as we arrived in Amsterdam we started looking for old bars and found Cafe Karpershoek. It’s a quaint spot located in a very touristy area (just outside the Red Light District), but it has a local vibe. They serve beers from local breweries and the Brouwerij’tij is the hub’s favorite. It’s got nice views, outdoor seating and a decent amount of indoor seating. No bar seating. It’s definitely worth a visit!

De Drie Fleschjes serves a wide range of Dutch Gin (Jenevers), including Corenwyn from Lucas Bols and a variety of liquors such as "Half and Half", "Bitter Cookies" and of course, the famous "Walk in the Woods" (Boswandeling). Gulpener beer is on draught and, depending on the season, a range of special beers. Wine trade walraven|sax guarantees a number of superior wines and for the non-drinker there are plenty of soft drinks in stock. There is also no shortage of delicious bar snacks to accompany your drink of choice.
We visited this cracking pub twice. Very friendly. We were soon chatting to folk.( Being the Netherlands this was in the usual flawless English!!) Great atmosphere. Good beers and Dutch gins. We had a couple of plates of nibbles. Excellent. Highly recommended.
