Today started out very early. We met at the office and left on time. Oh, Nong, and Sam were terrific tour guides. It was nice to leave so early because traffic was minimal. Was good fun waiting for the train to arrive and also riding it to the market. You have to see the market to believe it. So cool how everyone moves their wares when the train arrives. After hanging out there for a while, we went to the floating market. Since it's during the time of covid, there were no other foreign tourists. Many of the stalls were closed but being on the river was fascinating. Oh got us a boat and we were paddled around to different stalls. It was really nice. Afterwards, we ate by the river. Then, we made one last stop to a family farm to learn about the process of making palm sugar. Oh told us about the family and gave us a tour of their home. Fascinating. It was an all around great day. We would definitely do another tour with them again.

Today we saw a complete different side of Bangkok during the Colors of Bangkok cycling tour. The green lung of Bangkok is absolutely stunning. Am, our tourguide did a great job in showing us around. I would definitely recommend Bangkok Biking and we will definitely come back again for another tour.

Come with me on this trip to Samut Songkhram, and you'll not only see 1, but 2 iconic markets of Thailand in one day! Also, you'll get to visit Wat Bang Kung, one of the most unique temples in the area. We'll start the trip by picking you up from your hotel in Bangkok, and we'll head to Maeklong Railway Market first. Here, you'll see vendors selling fresh produce right by the train tracks and packing hurriedly their goods to make way for the train, only to resume their services after the trains had left. Next, we'll go to Tha Kha Floating market, one of the more "local" floating markets in the area with not many tourists. Ride the paddle boat along the canal to see the "real" local life. Best of all, we'll learn how to make coconut sugar the traditional way! After having lunch, we'll visit Wat Bang Kung together to see the one-of-a-kind ordination hall. Believe it or not, the ordination hall is covered within the Banyan and Bodhi Tree!

Inclusions: Lunch at local restaurant provided, Boat ride, Admission fee, Insurance, Gratuities, Air-conditioned vehicle

Exclusions: Alcoholic Beverages

We had a fantastic tour a few months ago before COVID. We ended up being the only ones on the tour and we’re fortunate enough to have all the food curated towards our vegan diets. The host was nice, friendly, and informative. There was a miscommunication about drink pricing at the end and the team was very nice and paid for our drinks after a conversation. They were more interested in making a customer experience better than a few bucks. For that I very much recommend this company!

May, our local guide is fantastic. She was very kind to pick us up at our hotel. We quickly hit it off and chatted about Bangkok during our tour. May took us to places that are off the beaten path to see the real Bangkok. We had a marvelous local Thai lunch by the river. May wanted to show us food that her grandma made for her. Totally authentic Thai food. Besides the Thai puppet show, she took us to see a 200 years old temple that is being restored. No tourists, just two of us. We felt very privileged to see her hometown. May took great care of us and even dropped us off at the next meeting point for our second tour. We appreciate her thoughtfulness and friendliness. Amazing recommended places from her. We felt her genuine friendship. Gave us a really warm feeling. Thanks so much, May. Sincerely appreciated.

My guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He and his driver picked me up, and dropped me off, at my hotel, even though it is well north of downtown. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun are amazing. I strongly recommend this tour. Be prepared for a LOT of walking.

Its unfortunate that the temples were in ruins and some vandalized. This was still a very good tour. The architecture is amazing to see even in its destruction. The only problem was our guide. He didn't seem to be very knowledgeable or willing to walk thru with us through the tour. At one point he suggested listening to another tour guide. I would say take the tour, but make sure you have a Tour Guide who is hydrated, willing to walk around and knows the history.

The giant Buddha statue is a MUST to visit the in Phuket. But try to go in the early morning as the sun will rise facing the Big Buddha and you can get a nice picture of the Buddha with clear blue sky behind.

Maeklong Market is a unique, 'must-see attraction' that should be on every visitor's itinerary. It is called 'Risky Market' because there is a train track that runs directly through the middle of the market. Literally within seconds of the train passing through the market vendors have to pull their goods, and themselves, out of the way. The precision timings and movements of everyone involved are fascinating to witness. Amphawa Weekend Evening Floating Markets is equally unique and special and well worth a visit!

We used I Asia Thailand (we used them last year) and we rented a van with guide Woody and driver. We requested Woody after good comments and feedback. We did a 8 hour day trip and they were punctual, dressed well, excellent English and very informative. We started from Patong and made our way north before stopping for lunch and then east road back to the south to the many view points. The van was clean with great aircon and wifi!!!. We also had our own hand sanitiser and also wipes throughout the day. I would suggest and recommend I Asia Thailand to any family and friends. We would happily use their services again!
