So rich in flora and fauna that it has been named a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Amboseli's open savannah grassland habitat teems with wildlife, including elephants, lions, wildebeest, cheetah, zebras, giraffes, impalas, baboons and hippos, not to mention over 400 different species of birds.

People should know that the elephant orphanage has been closed for a year. This fact isn't mentionned on the advertisement. You also have to pay extra if you want to be dropped of at the airport. In the end, you pay 50 USD for a ride to the museum and the Giraffe Center. The company should clearly inform clients that the elephant orphanage is closed and adapt the price of the trip, or think about another activity to offer to clients.

In particular the large bull elephants have some of the largest tusks in the animal kingdom. Also to be spotted are ample herds of buffalo, wildebeest, zebra and impala, as well as giraffes and warthog. It was a though but fantastic tour to mount longonot. We walked about 3 hours to see the crater, some animals and the beautiful nature. After that we spent some relaxing time at the boat trip at lake naivasha, and see some hippo's, birds and zebra's. Driver Sammy and guide Peter were 2 excellent and professional persons who make you're day more better. They're also very helpful, respectful and friendly. I recomment this tour to everyone who loves the nature!

I was lucky enough to find Julius of Wasili Kenya Safaris and I am so very glad I did. I have traveled to two parks with him including Nairobi National Park and Amboseli National Park on a different trip. After my first trip with Julius, I realized what an incredible and knowledgeable safari guide he was and was lucky enough to book with him an overnight trip to Amboseli. He knew everything answer to every question I had, he knew where to find the animals and where they would be at dawn and dusk. Julius always position his vehicle so that I would have the best view and photo opportunity. I have amazing photographs and fantastic memories of these trips, thanks to Julius. Needless to say, I highly recommend him and Wasili and can’t wait to return to Kenya to travel with Julius again. Thank you Julius for an trip, I will never forget.

What makes Amboseli special to us is that it is a game viewing paradise. . . Guaranteed elephant sightings come alongside other incredible wildlife sightings. Its compact size allows you to see virtually every aspect in about 3 days. In addition, Amboseli offers the best views of the world's tallest free-standing mountain and Africa's highest peak, Mt. Kilimanjaro! Amboseli National Park is situated at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which is the lifeline of the Park, through its melting snow which flows into underground springs that feed the swamps and wetlands that dot the plains. These water sources attract animals of all size, the most sought-after being the free-roaming elephants, but you will also see elands, waterbucks, Grant's gazelles, warthogs, Coke's hartebeests, zebras and other grazing herbivores. The abundance of large prey supports lions, leopards, civets, wildcats and other elusive hunters, as well as jackals, hyenas and other scavengers.

This is an amazing tour!! From the lunch, the guide brought us to a really tasty roadside restaurant for lunch that is clean and super tasty food. And the lodge was superb! It was close to the National Park! We saw all the Big 5 and the driver was amazing and focused on having the guests see all of the animals as his goal! This is a once of a lifetime experience I cannot recommend highly enough!
