Absolutely loved the Farmers’ Market. We stopped on a Saturday and were pleased with the vendors that were there....probably between 15-20. The fresh veggies we purchased were reasonably priced and all of the vendors were friendly and helpful. We also purchased masks and cinnamon rolls. Yummy! We decided to go back the following Wednesday. We were disappointed that only 6 vendors were there. One of the vendors said that Saturday is the big day and that some of the other vendors go to Oscoda’s Farmers Market on Wednesday. As luck would have it, the cinnamon roll person was there and we were able to purchase a whole plate of cinnamon rolls. Also we were able to get more fresh green beans! And the blueberry crumble pie my daughter’s boyfriend bought was out of this world! Definitely worth a stop to the Farmer’s Market if you happen to be in Alpena on one of the days they are open.

Ok, it's not really hidden because it's the largest building downtown, but make time to stop in and browse! This is a wonderful shop with local artists and historic charm.
