Rocky Mountain Adaptive (RMA) is a charitable organisation whose aim is to provide any individual with a disability the chance to access all sport and recreational activities in the Canadian Rockies. Based in Canmore, Alberta, RMA enables adults and children with physical, intellectual, cognitive, or developmental impairments to participate in all the fantastic sports and adventure activities available in the beautiful Bow Valley (including Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise and its surrounding areas). We offer an abundance of Winter and Summer activities and programs which enable children and adults with disabilities to experience the our many sports and recreation. We have seen first hand the benefits of participation in sport and recreation in our programs. These benefits go further than just the social aspects of equality and inclusion, extending to personal benefits that include increased independence, self esteem, strength, coordination, mobility, health, and the general well being.

Full day and half day canoe trips down the North Saskatchewan River every Saturday and Sunday. On weekdays, we have some nice evening paddle through downtown Edmonton. We meet in the city, shuttle you upstream and you paddle at your own leisure back to the meeting point, where your vehicle is parked. We supply your booked canoe or kayak and all equipment you need for the trip, including Personal Floating Devices in every size. Bring together a team of colleagues, a group of friends, family, club members and paddle your boat down the North Saskatchewan River, looking at the city from a completely different perspective and perhaps seeing some wildlife in an urban environment. All our trips are for beginners and range between three to six hours. If you have your own canoe or kayak and just need a ride for yourself and your boat, we do that, too. We operate from beginning of June to end of September.

Kananaskis Outfitters is the leading tour operator and sports equipment rental facility in beautiful Kananaskis. We offer a wide variety of guided tours for individuals, families, and groups; including big canoe tours, beginner-friendly hiking tours, SUP lessons, stargazing and snowshoeing tours, fat biking tours, nordic ski lessons, and so much more. We also operate a year round rental shop. Rental items include: mountain bikes, electric bikes, canoes, kayaks, stand up paddleboards, fat bikes, snowshoes, cross country skis and ice skates.

We offer guided canoe adventures in Jasper National Park which are ideal for families, couples, travel mates and private groups. Wildlife viewing opportunities include: bear, moose, elk, deer, loon and king fishers. Paddle as little or as much as you like and enjoy hot drinks and baked goods by a campfire. Canoe and safety gear is provided.

Experience nature and our northern hospitality on the amazing Peace River. The Peace is part of the second largest river system in North America. Accommodation guests are welcome to use kayaks and canoes during their stay. We will also shuttle from up or down river locations. If you are not staying at our accommodation, you are welcome to rent kayaks or canoes and canoe trailer, minimum 3 boats for non-guests. We also offer guided rafting for groups of 5 or more guests.

At the Banff Canoe Club we think everyone should have access to the wonderfully Canadian sport of Canoeing. Rent a canoe or Kayak from us and explore the gentler section of the Bow River or head up forty mile creek into Vermillion Lakes. We think you will love it so much, that you'll be back for another paddle before long! Rent a canoe, kayak or stand up paddleboard. For those new to the sport, we offer Big Canoe Tours. Choose from the River Explorer or Wildlife of the Bow tour and explore the river with your guide.

Join us on the most incredible adventure you'll find in the Canadian Rockies. Our canyoning trips are a one of a kind experience that will immerse you into a phenomenal canyon environment. Our full and half day trips include: rappels, scrambles, jumps, slides, waterfalls, and crystal clear pools, all set to a spectacular Rocky Mountains backdrop. With multiple canyons to choose from, our trips are suited for first timers all the way up to advanced canyoneers; organized in small guided groups of 2 to 8 participants. Our expert guides will teach and assist you with all the necessary skills to maneuver and descend safely down one of the several incredible canyons located around Banff, Canmore and the rest of the Bow Valley.

Summer: Water sports rentals. We offer canoes, open kayaks, sea kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. Winter: Snow sports rentals.
