The Francis Winspear Centre for Music is located in Edmonton's Arts District and is home to the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.
Home to the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and the Davis pipe organ. This ecoustically wonderful hall hosts many concerts and performances. Intimate setting where no seat is a poor seat. Worth visiting even if you are unable to take in a performance.

Deep in the Canadian Badlands, a location famous for its prehistoric attractions, lies a hidden valley where the events of a not-so-distant past echo, a place where ancient Israel is reborn and you can experience, "the greatest story ever told." The 14,000 who come each July are moved to laughter and tears by the dramatic portrayal of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

My husband I went to see CELEBRATE 30 years on Weds Dec 18, 2019 and I loved it so much I want to go see the production again next week with our son who will be visiting from Toronto. This comedic musical tour down memory lane was a great way to kick off the holiday season. The Yates Theatre has been beautifully renovated. It was our 4th visit in 7 years and every time we go I wonder why we don't have Season passes! The CELEBRATE show was clearly a labour of love by the dedicated directors and cast of this theatre group. I have seen shows in Montreal, New York, Stratford and Niagara on the Lake ON and New West is impressive by all standards. There is so much talent but I was especially wowed by Rylan Kunkel. His performance on the saxophone was so entertaining and only surpassed by his piano solo which was incredibly special.
