Best bakery on the northern California coast.
Despite google map entries and many other presumably up to date entries, the Two Fish location between Sea Ranch and Annapolis has closed permanently. It has moved to the Stewart Point store in Stewart Point.
Highly recommended in many on line discussions, this new incarnation of Two Fish has very very limited options in baked goods. Good cup of coffee and a totally weird, eclectic selection of lots of other things on the shelves (the Stewart Point store aspect of this). If you've read that this is the place to go for AM goodies, forget it.

We just celebrated our wedding anniversary in Gualala and enjoyed our anniversary dinner at the Black Point Grill (Sea Ranch Lodge), about 15 minutes driving distance from our Inn. Our host, "Professor" Diendorf, was humerous and personable. We enjoyed his welcome! It was refreshing. Our server Jasmin was prompt, and very skilled in opening the aged 2009 bottle of wine we brought. She was a joy to talk with, and she gave us nice advice for local attractions to visit. She gave us lots of extra details when we inquired about some of the menu items. She suggested the calamari as an appetizer, and we loved them! They were different than what you "usually" expect, as they had a hint of curry and were extra crispy. The dip on the side was a match made in heaven. We ate the Cioppino and lamb chops as our main course, and both were prepared to perfection. The portions were very generous and the flavors were rich. When exiting the restaurant, we got to meet the chef and were able to thank her personally. The staff, and management has great passion - it shows in their work. We look forward to coming back soon.

Lovely cafe with a fun mix of locals and visitors. Fresh everything - coffee, tea, breakfast and lunch menus. Find the cafe just a few minutes up the hill from Highway 1. Indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are friendly and greet all the locals by name. I think this is Sea Ranch’s version of Cheers!

Historic General Store, circa 1868, offering 15 handcrafted specialty deli sandwiches, general grocery store and gas.
Stewarts earns accolades for its overstuffed delicious deli sandwiches & neighborhood bakery.
A true General Store straight out of yesteryear that has everything a farmer & homemaker need ~ including gas pumps!
Perfectly & attractively organized, it took me back many years. I saw products & relics on display I barely remember & many that were way before my time. It was like going through a museum. Nostalgic.
& Speaking of an oasis in the desert ~ there's a loooong stretch of Coastline Hwy. S of it, so better fill up here.

We arrived in this lovely town late and our hostess told us to eat soon as everything closes early. We chose this pizzeria and were not disappointed. Freshly made and tasted divine....we had the medium between us and still took some back. If you are there it is a definite stop.

We were searching for a restaurant for Saturday night dinner with our son's family that included a 1-year old and 6-year old. They were very accommodating of us all. There was a kids' menu, reasonably priced menu, all with white clothed tablecloths. Unfortunately, our credit card was left there, but they had it the next day. Salmon was very good.
