At only 10 minutes from downtown Maastricht you’ll find Dormio Resort Maastricht. It's the most luxurious holiday park in the south of Holland, located on the famous Dousberg. At our resort you can enjoy the peaceful rolling landscape of Limburg. The resort is fenced by a challenging golf course. The city center of Maastricht can easily be reached by public transport.
Me and my family took a home with 3 bedrooms. The house was very nice, spacious and clean. Both upper floors have bathrooms and the uppermost also had a delicious sauna. The house has all the utensils you need for your stay. The only things I found missing were an extra cupboard in the kitchen so you could store your food, a bigger and more comfortable couch (the house is for 6 ppl but couch was for 2) and sitting chairs, perhaps some more "cozy" details on the wall as it was very empty, and being able to smoke inside (though it had a very nice outside sitting). The pool is very nice for children (no lifeguard) but for adults you might find it a bit small. The restaurant is not bad but could have more choice and specially better opening hours (kitchen closes at 9PM but you won't get food after 8:30). The breakfast place has very good quality, delicious orange juice, and freshly well made pastries (croissants, etc). Last but not least, the service from Dormio was excellent... we forgot something at the house and they found it and sent it to us :)

National Monument Hotel de Sprenck is situated on the edge of the city center in calm and green surroundings. Free private parking is available on site. It offers a variety of rooms ranging from comfort rooms to superior rooms. They are all equipped with an Auping bed, rain shower, and hi-speed WiFi connection. There is a shared lounge at the property. Breakfast is served in the characteristic conservatory.
Located just outside the town centre, but a 10 minute walk takes you to the centre and all the restaurants. Good parking. This a typical Dutch style hotel, thin towels, thin curtains, duvets too narrow, tiny bit of soap, no face towel etc. Inside the hotel lacks any character or style. Breakfast room, canteen like; lounge practically non existent. I was in one of the most expensive rooms with balcony, 200 Euros plus per night but was asked on arrival if I did not want my room cleaned during my stay I would get 2 euros discount! So that would be 198 euros per night without seeing to my room!! Staff were friendly.

Walibi Village We stayed at a 4-person cottage. Tip: don’t forget to close the door of the cottage during the (summer) evenings if you don’t want the mosquitoes to enter the house! This cottage was clean and has a kitchenette with dishwasher, electrical stove, microwave and cooler/freezer. We got a welcome cleaning kit containing a brush and sponge for the dishes, a tiny bottle of dishwashing liquid and a few thrash bags. Really handy as we didn’t have any of that stuff with us. They could’ve placed handsoaps in the bathroom and kitchen sink though as it would have been a nice touch for the sake of the hygiene. Front desk staff was friendly. What annoyed me was the deposit of €150 we had to PIN because this park doesn’t accept any credit cards and the amount will be refunded (with)in 10 days. The lady at the breakfast buffet was really friendly and helpful and made sure the buffet was kept well stocked. No cut fruits or egg stations, but boiled eggs, and some cold cuts, cereal, coffee and tea. Overall good stay.

Herberg Boswijck offers a nice stay in Friesland. They did not serve us dinner (we had to order from a local pizza shop), however, we are allowed to eat in the common dining room (respecting the Covid measures, tables are separated, and each room is assigned a table). The breakfast was a buffet and offered many different options. The bedrooms are very clean and comfortable. There is not much noise, despite it being next to a road.

I stayed with my friend here 1 night for a festival that was going on in Hoogeveen. The hotel itself was nice and in a really relaxing environment. The owners were nice and helpful and even fixed a ride for us from the hotel to the festival venue, free of charge! If I ever go back to Hoogeveen this is where I will stay again-

Landgoed Ruwinkel is holiday resort with 120 rentals and lies in the Gelderse Vallei (Gelderland valley), a magnificent area of natural beauty between the Utrechtse Heuvelrug (Utrecht ridge) and the Veluwe. Our park is the perfect base for trips in and around the area or to discover the Netherlands. There are many historical sites close by.
The park is out in the country side. when we went in May it was just after the school half term and was very quiet and relaxing, The house was nice and clean, We had a big garden that our dog loved although he had to be tied up. Walking him just across the road into the woods every day was lovely. The house was a 4 persoons luxury and had a sauna en sunbed. The sauna we didn't use but the sunbed I did use but it was not so great. The kitchen had everything that you needed but due to the four eating places on the site we only ate breakfast at the house. This is an ideal place to stay to visit differant places in Holland. You can also just up the road buy fresh eggs from the egg machine cheaper than in the shops.

We spent a great weekend together with relatives in the residence KREEK&DUIN. From the booking to the departure was everything perfectly organised. Thanks to the KUSTLICHT team! And an extra thank you for all this in stressful Corona times!

My husband and I visited last week to take part in the Nijmegen 4 day March. The hikers hut was fantastic, fully equipped and had a private toilet better than we expected. Elizabeth the host was amazing, she picked us up at the station and took us back at the end of the week. We hired bicycles and the surrounding area was fabulous. Would recommend a visit here both for families or couples. Hope to return again to explore the surrounding area
