When you visit a popular busy restaurant inevitably you will have to wait a little to be served. Definitely the case here but when the food arrives you realize itâs worth the wait. Inspired menu with a choice of diverse dishes. Warm plates, food warmers and generous portions add to the experience but the taste explosions are the star.

Lovely little Vietnamese cafe (that joins to a rather well-stocked oriental grocery shop on the other end!). It serves baguette banh mi, soft steamed bao and fresh vietnamese salad rolls. Also had its daily special which was a fragrant beef noodle pho - delicious! Very reasonably priced, informal and great for a quick bite. Delicious!

Frequently changing sateh menu's, in a cosy environment with friendly people. Owner and chef really have the right knowledge on sateh preps. Good meat (try the 'procureur' form porc) made in the right way and right 'cuisson'. Nice spot to have an affordable dinner when in Leeuwarden.
