Dinner for three on a busy Saturday - amazing service, delicious tapas. 5 rounds with two items per person didn't sound very much to start with but at the end we were all satisfied with the quantity we ate. Perhaps the manchego could have been a thicker slice.

This schizophrenic restaurant could be so much better. The food is wonderful and the servers are all so friendly...but the dining cadence is the worst in Western Europe! So freaking slow. We showed up ahead of our reservation time. Actually we were seated promptly too and outside of the food that is where the positives stopped. And I mean stopped. We waited 20 minutes for drinks and 30 minutes for water and 1 hour for the appetizers to show up and 2.5 HOURS for the entrees to show up. Not kidding. We are now trying to settle up the bill at 1015pm for a reservation that stated at 7pm. Now, keep in mind we are a patient bunch, but this was excruciating...paint drying, grass growing, horrible!

Visiting from Amsterdam on a Monday, when many places are closed or open later in the day, Markt23 was a lively and delicious option for lunch. Both the outdoor patio and large indoor restaurant we're available for a limited menu. We had hoped for the brick oven pizza but that wasn't available for lunch so we tried the fish & chips, sandwiches, & nachos. We quickly forgot about our pizza cravings....everything was yummy! All eight of us were raving about our entrees - a good sign that this is a place that can satisfy a wide range of customers. Give em a try.

Second time in two weeks for us to visit this restaurant. In the 'Friese meren region' one of the best restaurants to visit.Priced very reasonable. Starters between 12-15 euro. Main courses around 20 euro.Informal yet classy, authentic and quick service. Good choice of foods, wine knowledge is notable. As a starter I had the veal sweet read and the codfish as a main course.

Visited Tante An for lunch and had good sandwiches, served with salad as a side. Portions are big. The basis is a veggie sandwich, chicken or salmon can be added on to it against an additional charge. Nice atmosphere and service. Food and drinks are quite expensive overall- as usual on Ameland.

The restaurant is in one of the oldest houses of Vlieland. Everything was perfect: the quality of the food and the friendly personal. They don't have a menu but they offer you a dinner of three, four or even more courses, based on your preferences. We will certainly come back....

We (parents, grandma, 3 teenage kids, 14-19 yrs) selected Zee van Tijd based on the reviews and the picture of the Cheesecake on tripadvisor. The restaurant delivered on the promise provided by many good reviews. The restaurant is based in the middle of Nes, with a big terrace. As we visited in October, we stayed in side - which is middle sized and very cozy. We got a great table in the corner of the restaurant and were served swiftly and with a smile. The food is surprisingly good: not your average âtouristâ style, nor Michelin star âhaute cuisineâ. Itâs sort of in the middle: very tasty, very beautifully made up dishes and decent âportionsâ. We had a variety of starters, had duck (2 of us the breast, 2 the leg) hamburger and mushroom risotto as main. Off course we tried the cheesecake that got us hooked in the first place: and it was great.I will definitely go again - can recommend for families with teenage kids.

restaurant stoof ( stew in englisch) is specialised in internatinal stewdishes. Take a trip around the world and be surprised by the flavours
Passed through Sneek during a weekend outing in Fryslân/Friesland and discovered this restaurant by sheer coincidence. Decided on the spot to risk it, and were rewarded with a surprisingly fine meal. Having had a buffet breakfast, we went for a salad meal, seafood for my wife and chicken for me. A full plate, a magnificent meal and able as well as friendly service. This place is a gem, a cut above most places - and that at a most affordable price. In a word, excellence!

A warm welcome,We selected the 6 course meal with the wines.Good service throughout with fun explanations of the wines that accompanied each dish. Also the dishes were fully described and were all very enjoyable.Attention to allergy details for one of us was very professionally dealt with and did not distract the enjoyment of the meal. We couldnât wish for a better celebration of our 35th wedding anniversary. When visiting Holland again, we will definitely come back.

My date took me out to this âupper classâ restaurant. We sat out in the conservatory, which looks absolutely gorgeous. Very modern and sleek. The restaurant offers good service and high quality food. The dishes are real eye-catchers: every course looked beautiful. The only thing was: I didnât enjoy the food so much. I felt like they were trying too hard. Putting so many flavours into such a tiny dish (I mean seriously, it was just one or two bites in a dish) is just too much! There was hardly any balance between the foods and flavours and I felt that they let these beautiful products go to waste by adding so much stuff. Personally I just like a good plate of real food. Nothing too fancy, just good flavours and enough food on my plate. So this restaurant and itâs eye-catching dishes are just not my cup of tea. But if youâre really into kickshaw and you have plenty of cash (itâs an expensive restaurant - fortunately my date was really nice ;)), this could be the place for you.
