Architecturally impressive, the Kruisheren Restaurant is suspended between the eaves of the nave, offering remarkable views of original wall and ceiling frescos. Modern lighting and contemporary furniture populate the mezzanine and offset the historic atm
Beautiful location, with nice courses and a fresh atmosphere. The location is unique because it is an old church converted into a classy hotel-restaurant with modern touches. There are some modern artworks, but also the large lamps and design interior provide a fresh atmosphere in this place.

Renowned for exceptional quality and outstanding service, Restaurant Château St. Gerlachâs à la carte menu is masterfully designed to delight both the eyes and palate. Occupying three of the Châteauâs traditional reception rooms, the restaurantâs visually
What an experience! We went here with friends for a lunch (Snel&sjiek) and really enjoyed it. What a quality and location! A two-course lunch of outstanding quality with a glass of wine and coffee with sweets..... and that only for 31 per person. Make sure to reserve and you will enjoy it, and not only the food but also the chateau, the room and the garden. What an experience!! We will come again and.... again and again when we have the opportunity.

A great place for an excellent dinner! This restaurant is rather hidden and hard to detect but it's worth the go. The food was excellent! Loved all the three dishes. Started with a delicious Carpaccio, a must try Toff-stew, mouthwaterig..the meet was done to perfection and services with side vegetables and fries. For the dessert I chose The White lady which was a perf3ft end to this meal. The food is why I give this place 5 starts. Other than that the place isn't that big so when the restaurant is full, which was in our case, it becomes very noisy. We were seated close to the door so the cold wind would come in sometimes, for me personally it wasn't such a big issue but for others it wasn't that pleasant.I liked this place a lot. They do have english menu wich was a nice suprise. As other reviewers have said it's a bit old fashioned but the food is simply fantastic. Big,Big compliments to the chef!Would love to come again!Be sure to reserve a table! Place is popular!

We selected the 5 course menu, but due to dietary requirements, not all dishes were the same. My partner rated all courses very highly, literally calling it an â explosion of flavorsâ. For me, the first dish was bland, all other courses were superb. The wine arrangement is good, and I really liked the option of half glasses to go with each course. The restaurant set up is different. All tables and seats are facing the kitchen, dinner theatre style. The set up allows the guests to follow what the cooks are doing, which is nice as long as they are preparing the dishes. But when the team start to clean the kitchen, vigorously scrubbing the floors and walls, it turns a romantic evening out in a painful reminder of the daily household chores. We would recommend you start dinner at 6pm at the latest in order to avoid this part of the spectacle.

Small but nice and cozy living room decorated "eatcafe" on restaurant level. About thirty seatings for dinner, drinks only limited if there is a free table or on reservation for whisky lovers. Over 550 whisky's in stock, expert advice is always possible!
This restaurant is located in a side street of the central market place. But boy, is this a place to take a short stroll to. First of all, the reception. Very hearthy and open. Then, of course, there's the gargantuan number of whisk(e)ys on offer, most of them for very decent prices. And the owner gives excellent advice. Last but not least: the food is excellent. Extras for those who speak Dutch/Flemish: the interesting items posted in the toilets.Thank you so much for your fantastic review Pascal! Maybe someday, I will find some time to translate, next to our menu (already in English), also the toilet-items into English.

The service is slow and inappropriate for business dinner: not discreet at all and regularly interrupting guests, also sometimes for unnecessary questionsPortions are way too small, even for a gastronomic restaurant, To give an idea, we took a main and a dessert, I'm a big guy, but my small slim female colleague joined me to share a kebab after the diner. This was a first for both of us.The place is beautiful, fresh and pleasant, dishes are tasteful but this is expected for that price range)

Fortunately I was able to book a table for two during the famous Art Fair (TEFAF). During my reservation I have asked for a table at the window so we could enjoy the beautiful view on Maastricht. Although they couldnât guarantee this table I was lucky to get it. And what an astonishing view. It was a risk for Rantree to move from the centre of Maastricht to this place but it was worth it. Not only the view but also the interior. A modern and warm interior and plenty of space between tables. So you have enough privacy to spent an excellent evening. And although fully booked no noise, which is a great achievement. We ordered the 5 course diner. Not only the dishes were excellent but also the appetizers. Each one of them (I think we got 5 in total) tasted excellent. Compliments to the chef; not the standard stuff but beautifully shaped and presented appetizers. Especially the merengue appetizer was an explosion of flavours in our mouth. When you order a five course meal it is a 4 hour feast. The combination of the dishes is, combined with the appetizers, are well thought out and it doesnât feel like 4 hours. We had an culinary journey on a Michelin level (I have eaten at 2 Michelin restaurants that even didnât come close to Rantree). In fact we skipped the dessert because we were done (and are not that fond of desserts). The wine list contains of a small but sufficient selection of beautiful wines. As my partner isnât that fond of red wine we ordered a Pouilly Fumee. Very good price quality. Next time I will order the wine arrangement. The waiters are stylish and informal. A strange combination but it fits into this restaurant and probably they know how to judge the individual needs of their guests. The water and wine glasses were filled without having to ask. So no empty glasses. Is it all perfect? Almost. The bar has a beautiful view on Maastricht but has a little bit lack of atmosphere. It is a square room next to the restaurant but you will find only seats here. So actually not a bar. We were finally surprised again by a restaurant. It is not cheap but worth it. You will have a great culinary experience with great hospitality. So visit this restaurant when you are in Maastricht.Dear Alainl290In name of the whole team I may thank you for your nice and warm review. You've described very well what we're doing in our restaurant for our customers. It is therefor very nice to read how well our whole team did their very best to achieve all of your expectations and gave you a very unique experience. We sincerely hope to see you soon again.Kind RegardsTeam Rantrée

Outside of the city of Maastricht is this beautiful castle. In the evening you are welcomed by a lot of candles lining the pathways to the castle nestled close to the marl caves. After an aperitive in the wine cellars, which I donât think is optimal for the wines, we had a menu in the restaurant. Good service and original with a lot of attention for the âmise en placeâ. Salmon with nori, garlic, quinoa and sambai started with a Japanese touch. Grouper in a Mediterranean way and duck with ras-el-hanout both followed before a chocolate delicacy completed the meal.Dear Maurits, Yes you can have a Conference meeting in a lot of unique locations but a ten minutes drive to our location and into another world is a chance you will find only in Maastricht. Culinary creations inspired by journeys. Experience gained in top restaurants. Flavors from afar. Regional products. Beautiful wines. Craftsmanship. Local hospitality with a touch of Canadian charm. Restaurant One is the creation of Limburger Edwin Souman
Restaurant One never stops surprising. Having dinner there every year, we are still very happy customers. It's worth the trip to Roermond. We had the full menu this time. Beautiful amuses, sea bass ceviche (what a killer!), cod, veal and more. Dishes look beautiful and taste great. Great eye for detail. Word cannot describe the experience. Nice selection of wine (and they are pour generously). Informal, very friendly staff. Nice ambience in old industrial building. Only a smalle 'mistake': why no asparagus the menu? The regional gold... and, just in season.Well thanks for taking your time, we as a team really appreciate it. We love to hear from our guest everytime they dine with us, if there is anything else we can do, just let us know and we be on top of it, again. See you soon at ONE!

This is a place that has long been associated with food. âKwartelâ is Dutch for quail so â as the name suggests â quails were traded here from the fourteenth century until after the Middle Ages. And in the first half of the nineteenth century a mill stood
Venlo has definetely more to give than just fries and shopping. This nice spot remains on my top list of visited restaurants ever. Service was extraordinary and the quality and taste of the foods served were outstanding. We had the surprising 4 courses, once vegetarian. All courses were top notch, well composed and introduced at the table. Reasonable prices made our visit perfect. Thank you, we will come again.
